MT31P - Mule Team Featuring CPM S45VN - Release Date

#1

Post by TazKristi »

Hey, everyone!
We're happy to announce the MT31P CPM S45VN Mule Team will be released on Thursday, 22-Apr-2021 at 09:00 am MDT.

You'll find it and more details here.

Mule Team handle scales (MTGBK) and sheaths (MTLSH) and (MTSH) will also be available through SFO (sold separately).

Shipping information can be found here.

Sales will be limited to two per customer. Set your reminders, now!

Don't forget to come back and share your experience in the Mule Team sub-forum! So many of you did awesome things after the MT28 release! We'll be watching, and we can't wait to see what everyone does next! ;)

Kristi

P.S. The MTLSH should be back in stock within a day or two of this post.
There is nothing more important than this one day.

I'm interested to see if this one will sell as quickly as the SPY27 Mule Team (MT28).

I have to admit, I was hoping that MT29 would be released first/next. Why MT31 first?

I think the numbers are the order they decide to do them, and the release date depends on the availability of materials (and maybe production facilities--haven't some been made in Taichung?).

I'm actually glad to see this one next. Hopefully some of the pent up mule-desire will be burned off before the insane frenzy for the MagnaCut drop.

I can't wait for this one. I had Spy27 before that Mule dropped, but I have zero s45vn at this point.

Any order is ok, as long as they all do drop! I'm just very much looking forward to the Z-Max. :) But maybe it's good to have S45VN first, a steel that is already available. Chances are that this drop will be more civil. ;) Z-Max dropping might then be the next peak of craziness...

I’m really hoping I can get one, I’m planning on gifting it to my father. I’m hoping to get one for my self too ;)

My father just recently bought his first Spyderco knife last week, a knifejoy exclusive Para 3 Lightweight.

I’m going to see him this weekend so I’ll find out how he likes the knife.

He’s only ever really used traditional buck knives and others of that style, Victorinox and the occasional fixed blade. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman for many years so he actually used his knives how they were meant to be used. It will be interesting to hear his assessment of a Spyderco knife.

I may be able to be in Golden for release day, very excited! Any special rules/plans to be aware of for buying at the SFO? I saw the covid capacity restrictions on the website and I saw how fast the last mule team sold out, could everything potentially sell out online before people waiting outside can get in to make a purchase?

I am fairly tempted but want to hold out for z-Max and magnacut. I am just worried there will be such a run for those I will end up with none.
