MuleTeam Giveaway! WINNER ANOUNCED!!!

#1

Post by legOFwhat? »

Since hearing the news that the MuleTeam program was not being cancelled afterall, I really wanted to show my appreciation to Spyderville and give away one of my mules that I've made scales for.

The past couple of years my biggest hobby had been learning and making these handles. I've made about 30 sets or so for the same handfull of mules, some hideous, some mediocre and some I just wrecked, but a few turned out pretty good, IMO of course :)

So now I want to pass one on so maybe some of the joy I've had with them could be shared. I'll let the winner choose which of the two mules, either a "user" or a "looker" (not that either can't be used, of course).

You must post here in this thread with an "I'm in" to qualify and my wife is going to work out the random generator or worst case I'll have her draw the names out of a hat or something :p

I'll post up pictures of the Mules to choose from this evening along with the final details. Entry ends on St. Valentines day(how corny is that? :D ) at 10 PM EST. Winner announcement: TBD. Good Luck!

Sorry I couldn't get the video to load, but there is the link. Anyway CONGRATS RICK! If you listen to the audio there is a gasp at the end, me and the beautiful Ms. were just laughing because JRinFL was the 1st picked and he opted to give it to the next person! How awesome is that! Rick you owe JR a big hug, a bro hug...you know lets not be weird :D

Here are the choices:

Option #1 MULE TEAM™ 27 MICRO-MELT PD#1 with Raffir's BLUE URANIUM MOON and blue G10 liner. Glows in the dark :D
Option #2 MULE TEAM™ 26 MICRO-MELT A11 (PMA11) with contoured RED PEARL KIRINITE and sheath with G-clip.

Both knives have been sharpened and used as templates for other scales and are generally in great shape, just scuffed up a bit. Winner picks his/her favorite and they will be shipped anywhere needed :)

Not in. I really don't want to take the opportunity from someone else. I just wanted to chime in to say I think it's awesome that you're offering up one of your gems Larry! :)

I’m in. But what I would really appreciate is a how to / learned lesson on making scales. If I can get a new mule I want to try and make wood scales for it. I have a beautiful piece of rough cut cherry I want to use.

If I win give it to the next closest number. Thanks for the nice gesture to the community! Someone is going to be very lucky.
