Thanks Potterma, for the preview! Those last three look very nice, and I can't wait to feel the ram's horn in-hand.

@ MyKnife
Cool look of the G11(?) with the single mosaic pin. I really dig the backlit photo of the scales too!

Wow, I'm blown away. The beauty of these handles is phenomenal. It makes me want to try making one here someday soon. Have any of you used carbon fiber scales yet? Other than the fact that it sends slivers of carbon every where that can be bad for you, can it be sanded/worked the same way wood or micarta?

Yup CF can be worked with the same tools for the most part. Wear a respirator, and long sleeves. I also suggest haveing some good dust collection, for me these means my shopvac is sucking up the dust as I create it.

When the slivers are in you skin the only way to get them out is to let them work themselves out. But a hot shower helps a ton! Opens the poors and they slide out a little eaiser.

Great work Potterma. Can we get a close-up pine shot of the CF mule? I'm trying to get an idea of the contouring. Thanks in advance.

Um.... post #138.... ;) I've done several others, as well. Most posted here.... Best advice I can give for working CF is wear a respirator! Second is use dust collection! Third is have fun!

type00rev Don't have a pic of that one edge on, but here is another one with an spine shot: http://spyderco.com/forums/showpost.php ... tcount=128

Domanfp,

That's not one of my sheaths. I fold over the spine. Looks like one of Scott Gere's sheaths - he does the factory sheaths for Spyderco.

Waw, I agree. Really amazing what you can do with a few "simple" ;) adjustments.

Dear Potterma,

I really love the gray slated one, but you always seem to be able to create something original from existing knives (like the CLB ones).
Great pictures, great job, real inspiration.
