Finished up one of 3 mules I started this Christmas vacation. Mulecation as it were.

Since I had some leftover zombie Kydex, I did another toxic green g-10/micarta, but this time burlap. I also used cf tubes for pins with the intent to fill the tubes with epoxy and gitd powder. Probably shouldn't have polished it up 1st.

Looks good! I've always wondered how that material would hold up in use. Is it hard to work with when hand sanding?

Really easy sanding and takes a great polish. The thin metal mesh will polish up right along with it and gives a great contrast and effect on both the sides and the face.

Left wet blue tape on this mule while wet sanding for a few days and picked up a little rust. Sprinkle of BKF and light finger rubbing took it right off.

Yep, all the Uranium glows. Yikes that's not fair, that's twice what the scales would cost!

Made a few changes on this ZWear mule. Changed the lower portion to a chamfer instead of radius. My 1st gitd/epoxy fill on the cf tubes worked out pretty well but I made a mess and learned what not to do.





Hopefully the T15 Mule drops soon but, in the meantime I intend revisit a few previous mules just make some changes.

Hey I shapped my Ultem Magnacut one today and made a set of scales for another… got another 2 days off so give me a few days.

(The Ultem is a sanding nightmare from now on as it’s all hand sanding through the grits)
