I'm guessing I've missed the news on this. I've been waiting for mine for about 9 months. Should I give up?

This thread is the ongoing discussion. It has some info regarding how they are trying to dial in the heat treat to achieve the results they are looking for. Not sure if it is more to corrosion resistance, edge retention, or what.
