… I’ll probably grab an frn harrier in SE and G-10, harrier in PE. And that will prob be it for me this year as last was a big one for me 😳
I’ll probably have to eat crow on this one! I’ve already realized that I forgot about the new Ayoob.
Yeah, I'm sure that'll be me at some point, lol. Just before the New Year, I grabbed myself a CE Cara-Cara and a PE Cara-Cara, both FRN. It amazes me what great knives these are for soooo little money! But I did tell myelf that I would by the MaganCut N5 this year when it's available.

Yeah, I really like the N5SE I have and was kinda thinking that the new MC version would be a perfect PE version for me but unlike you, the two spydercos I picked up just before the end of the year are carbon fiber handles. I’m enamored with both of those for day to day non-work carry and kind of negate the NEED for another native at this point. Plus, I’m sure folks will start offloading their current salt N5’s!!

Hi Skeeg,

FRN is the plan. All of these things take more time than any of us would like, but Rome wasn't built in a day. I've been accused of "hinting" things too soon, and I try not to provide too much information, but I believe you would prefer it that way? If not, please let me know?

The byrds are gaining in popularity and as with Spyderco, we try to accommodate the wishes of our customers. Not custom knives, but we listen, so better than just taking what we make with no input.

Edited by me to remove the Mike Story. I decided that it was unfair of me to put him on the spot like that. Apologies, Mike.

Has anyone seen them available anywhere yet ?
I'm frequently checking major retailers in my neck of the woods but they're still unheard of.

They are dropping all over. National knives, knifecenter, knifeworks. Not too hard to find them.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

You won't see it yet. Europe doesn't get releases at the same time usually.
Highly anticipated models are often ordered by our usual dealers, but it can sometimes take 1 or 2 months after we see them on U.S. websites.

Plus, Byrd knives are not their first priority, so they might not order directly ?

Yes, we got the Crucarta PM2 pretty fast cause it was highly anticipated and a variation from a best seller item.
The K390 serrated police is not even available in europe yet ^^

Thanks Sonorum ! I checked that yesterday but a Dragonfly Wharnie K390 ended up in my cart instead. These insects are really annoying, they only do what they want :rofl

The prices are pretty ok for the Wharnie Byrds, I'll definitely pick up one or two versions in serrated.
