Hi Rtz,

Welcome to our forum.

They are just coming in now. They'll go through QC and then we'll begin shipping. WE have then in Plain edge and combo edge.

I've been carrying mine for the last 5 months and I love it. I like the gimping below the blade and the full flat grind compared to the endura. This is my first Wave knife and it took some getting used to but it is a very nice feature for people worried about self protection.

Picked one of these up yesterday and really like it. It fits in my hand very well. Hard to beat it for the price. My only concern is that the blade is thinner than even my FFG Endura.
Although it would raise the price, I would like one with a thicker blade.

This is a very nice version of the CaraCara.
The blade thickness is the same on the Rescue model too, although it is hollow ground. It has been up to the challenge when I have used it for gardening etc.
Enjoy your new knife. :)

Thanks. I believe I will enjoy it a lot. I really like the handle. And with the thinner blade, it's a great slicer for sure.

I haven't bought a Byrd since the G10 Crossbill came out years ago. I didn't like that knife and got rid of it.

This Cara Cara, on the other hand, is a keeper. The overall quality seems much than earlier Byrds.

I got this and a replacement Matriarch 2 earlier this year and carry them every day most of the time since. Great knives, and the CC2 is a killer deal.

I might get one of these. I wish the waved PM2 had a FFG.
