Some of you are firearms enthusiasts, like myself, and purchased the Gunsite Cold Steel Voyager tanto offered in a large and a medium version. How did this Byrd slip by without any of us knowing about it? I could find no mention on this forum, on the Spyderco website, in the Spyderco PDF catalog or on the Internet except for the Gunsite store link. One other curious thing about the store description is that at the end it refers to the knife as the Crow. There is a Byrd Crow knife but as far as I can determine there is no Gunsite edition.
It's $59.95, only a few dollars more than a plain Raven. And I already have the two Cold Steel tantos, a SW1911SC, a Colt CCO and a Yaqui holster, all with the Gunsite raven. Oh, dear.
Upon further review, there seems to be no ADD TO CART button. Whew. That was a close one. Apparently Gunsite considers the little Byrd to be a weapon and you can't buy it online. You have to phone it in.
