I wouldn't mind seeing a reissue of the Firebyrd.

Woah that was pretty ingenious, though I have no use for a lighter I'd buy one just for the sake of it.
Even if a lighter is unnecessary in the day to day for nonsmokers, it is pretty handy for camping. Which is also a great time for a bottle opener and a little knife.

Hi Yogibearal,

Welcome to our forum.

Thank you Sal. I've been viewing unregistered for a bit. Never really collected until recently, when I started trying some new steels after getting into a sharpening system. The Byrd line has been my go-to, so thought I'd chime in.

Could we get an Emerson Cara-Cara trainer, please?

Hi Al,

Thanx for the interest and support.

Hey Ngati Pom,

We have a regular trainer for the Cara Cara in-the-works. But we have to make a new mold for the Cara Cara so it will take a while. We'll have to see reaction and sales of the first trainer before considering a trainer with a Cara Cara with a "hook".

Does this mean the Cara Cara is going to eventually get scales like the harrier?!

Also, since the wharncliffes are on the way, I’m wondering how much work/tooling it takes crank out a harrier-sized rescue? While we are asking, harrier-hawkbill? Can we tell which frn Byrd is my favorite?

Thanks!!!

Hi Sal, thanks for the reply. That’s something to look forward to.
I’m hoping the Cara-Cara Emerson sales will justify a Meadowlark Emerson at some point. :crossed-fingers
Or an Emerson Wharnie…? ;)
