For the past few weeks I've been carrying my Meadowlark 2 frn at work.
It is a great knife, I used it a lot when I got it 3 years ago then set it aside.

Now I love my steels and tried most under the sun and with that 8Cr13MoV is a great edc steel.
Edge holding is good and most time a few light swipes on my pocket hone brings it back to super sharp.

The only thing I may do is dremel off the high outside ridges on the frn handles.
Other than that this is a superb sub 20 dollar knife.

Robin 2...quickly becoming my go to EDC. Perfect size, perfect weight, super sharp, solid, and a blade that's fun to open.

Used my Byrd Hawkbill a lot this weekend. That is one nasty good cutter for under 20 bucks!

Just got a new hawkbill (my second, I think I gifted the first) and a crossbill in the mail today. I was surprised how close the crossbill is to spyderhawk size.

Just got a Tern slip-it in G10. Holding out for a Cara Cara 2 G10 now, preferably in orange.

Couldn't agree more. The serrations are perfect. I wish more Spyderco's had them this shallow.

I lost my Cara Cara (1st Version in FRN) a while back, and have since been using the Cara Cara 2 in G10. Beautiful knife, you can get it wickedly sharp and all... I also EDC the Byrd Wings lot these days. G10 is a very good handle material, looks quite cool as well... it can get a bit slippery in wet conditions though...

Is that black stainless CE? Are all Cara Cara CE chisel ground including the PE part? I saw some pictures where it seems the PE is not chisel, but symmetrical, where the serration is chisel.
