My first Byrd, a Cara Cara 2 FRN

Post by Screwdriver »

Last weekend I stopped by my local Spydie dealer and bought a Cara Cara 2 FRN Combo Edge. Never had a Byrd and the price was under $25 with tax. Fit is spot on. centered blade, zero blade play and perfect grind. Finish is what I call work serviceable. Meaning none of the finish issues would impeded the knife.

So, I have been EDC'ing it since I bought it and I am highly impressed. Makes me wish the Endura had a choil. Also the price puts it out of any safe queen time...Might as well use the **** out of it, and buy another when it does not do it's job. Overall, a great knife from a great company.

This will see a lot of pocket time. :D
