I have a M'lark 2 that drops just like this when you depress the lock bar- I like it. It is very smooth and I don't see any reason to be concerned..Donut wrote:How is the action on this knife?
I got two FRN Meadowlark 2's and when you press the lock release, there's like a 30 degree swing where the blade doesn't contact the lock bar. Neither of mine feel like any lockback from Spyderco or Byrd I've ever used. I sent them in for warranty thinking something was wrong and was told they were within spec.
I've been staying away from the G-10 Meadowlark 2 because of it.

Fit and finish is imacculate and it feels great in the hand.
The locking and pivot are fine on mine.
My Cara Cara will swing back to a 90 degree angle when I release the lock bar, which I like, but this is much stiffer.
All in all a great deal.
-er, me, by way of Tyrion LannisterI drink, and I cut things.
