Small suggestion on the Byrd logo

#1

Post by KardinalSyn »

I remember some time ago seeng a Byrd knife that I liked on the web. The was before the Spydie bug bite got me. I recall how I disliked the Byrd logo.

Now that I understand about Spyderco and Byrd knives, I still think that the logo could be improved on the FRN models. Currently, there are two versions of the logo.

Perhaps the inclusion of a small bird in a more clear and funky shape. Just a thought.

This is true, byrd could use a clearly discernible mark, like the Spyderco bug. Brand recognition is a big thing.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Might i suggest a simple stylized bird silhouette with a head shaped like the byrd comet logo. I perhaps someone with some graphic design talent can have a go at it?
