Forum Software Update - Minor Outage Coming

Hi everyone,
We are going to install an update on the forum software - standard update, nothing fancy or hugely different. In order to ensure what we hope will be minimal downtime we need to take the forum down to do the update. Please see below for details.

Woohoo! Back in the saddle :D

I like the new look, much easier on the eyes. Being a person who suffers from frequent migraines, I really appreciate that.

My wish has been granted! Images no longer screw with landing on a certain post (first unread, latest). Thanks Kristi!

One thing though...I miss the black. It made the whole forum much easier on the eyes. I don't know if I can customize that, but it makes it much easier to browse at night which is pretty much the only time I have these days. Oh well, bed time. Thanks again! Much love!

I can't put my finger on what all has changed, but to me the font looks sharper and clearer, and when surfing in bed in the dark, I can just click my labtop screen brightness to the very lowest setting, and it's still sharp and clear and, with my setup at least, easy on the eyes.

I no longer see the customization options that used to be available when the new forum opened up for business. I don't know if they were taken away with this update or if that happened long before....... as I never bothered with the other template since after I first saw the option initially and tried it without liking it much. But I can't find it now so I think it has been removed. It would be nice if an alternative night theme could be offered too. That is if old format can't be made available as an option for some reason.

I actually do like the new format better but I can see the point about extra eye strain at night.

I detect my avatar-picture and all the jpg-pictures as attachments are gone in my posts. Is there any chance to get them back with some further settings on your side?

I made the jpg's as forum software attachments as I thought this is a safe way
