I just had a closer look and I can edit newly posted items but not the older. Checked my Knife Accumulation thread and I can't edit any of the posts. Looks like the edit time has been set on a limited time.

Same thing on my posts. The edit option icon seems to disappear after 24 hours.

It may be an internal setting that Kristi can control. I have noticed this as well, but I hadn't clocked it yet.

Try it again, you should be able to edit it now. I had to play with the settings - without some type of time limit the forum simply disables the feature and won't show edit times on posts. We've had some complaints about not seeing edit times so I was trying to correct that. The edit time limit is now set for the longest time I can allow that will still (hopefully) show edit times.

I'm unable to edit an old post:

It was created on August 27, 2014 and last edited on October 21, 2014.

Any chance we can get to edit old posts? Seems like if it's over two months old the Edit button disappears!

RamZar,
I've tweaked the settings again. Please try again and let me know if there are still issues.

Thanks Kristi. It works now, that is, I can edit old posts.

Thank you RamZar,
Sometimes testing settings is a challenge. I appreciate the patience shown by all as we work through some of the issues. ;)
