A place to list and reference all Spyderco counterfeits, clones, and replicas that are found. Anything that isn't a legitimate Spyderco fits in this area.

While reporting fakes here and to eBay gives us a warm fuzzy feeling, eBay cannot do anything unless the owner of the trademark, copyright, or patent that is being infringed has registered with their VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) program and is the party...

Hello!
I purchased two of the same model para 2’s (15v sprint run) from different vendors. The made in USA text on them is different in width. One is 18.5mm and one is 25.5mm. Is one of these fake or are there typically slight variations in labels?...
I only basically own spyderco knives but it is interesting to watch the thin slicey lightweight frn magnacut hogue deka sell out around the world. There is a lesson to be learnt here I think. There is a market for lightweight thin and slicey especially in...

Sorry in advance...
This is my first post and my first Spyderco... I purchased on Amazon before realizing the issues with fakes. It came from Onkata from what I can tell and I saw in another post that they may be a legit dealer? I paid $138 plus tax....
Has anyone heard of the Hundred Pacer being cloned? I ask because when I tried to replace the pivot screws with aftermarket screws, they were nowhere near a fit. Both the knife and the screws came from reputable secondary-market sellers.
New here, not an expert and the owner of only 2 spydercos. I am based in Poland for a few weeks and have been browsing olx.pl.
There seem to be a few sellers of counterfeit knifes.
I do not speak polish so I either asked my wife or...

Hi all,
my previous post about these knives was made before I contacted the seller... who insists that these knives were ordered as an exclusive straight from Spyderco.
I smell some probable BS, but would love to have confirmation one way or the...
Howdy folks !
So, I got this presumably old Military from a seller. It arrived today, and I need help confirming whether it is or is not a genuine item.
I'm covered if it's not ;)
I can't use the forum's search function to look for bestfolderknife.com because the search function doesn't understand it's all one word, and it thinks the words are too common to search for. So maybe this has been discussed already. That said:
Seller has good feedback, but AFAIK there hasn't been a cherry red variant of either model, no red scales on S45VN either...
The M390 and 4V knives had translucent G10.
These aren't being sold at bargain (counterfeit) prices and they're listed as new...
I've been collecting knives since COVID hit, and this hobby has been very therapeutic for me. Anyways, I was doing some research on amazon about counterfeits and etc, I came across this WAY-TOO-GOOD to be true...
I contacted this seller the first time I saw this fake listed. She pulled it once, then listed it again with a lame may be a replica disclaimer. This is at least the second one she has listed, so she must have bought several. She also has a stainless fake...
I am trying to find out the origin of a Shaman that is posted in a facebook group. It appears to be modded (a lot). My concern is that I have never seen a DLC coated rex 45 Shaman blade. The seller sent me this photo- something looks off. Someone's...

First time poster from long time owner. I recently lost my old Delica 4 in a large wood pile and have not recovered it as of yet. It was purchased about 4 or 5 years ago from a reputable online vendor. I decided to try my luck on Amazon and purchased an...

I was on youtube and seen this in a video so I went looking for one to see what it was. I actually found one on ebay with the spyderhole blurred out. It looks like a Stretch with an Axis lock. I'm sure I'm just late to the party but it blows me away they...
Hi,
Recently I've been turning myself towards pretty well used Spydercos, in order to give them a new life at my side.
Someone proposed to sell me a ZDP Stretch for around 50 bucks.
He made pictures and I didn't think much of it except that the...
Does the size of the triangular opening on the fangs of the spider logo indicate a fake? I saw some posts and a YouTube video about spotting fake spydercos claiming this. When I checked out my spyderco boxes I noticed 2 of the ones I have look like the...

I've taken some close up photos of a Squeak I've just received. Spyderco customer services haven' t been able to confirm fake or otherwise (but will if I post the knife to the USA - I'm in the UK). The logo on the knife has a well define triangle where...
Just saw this, somebody linked it on Reddit to ask if it might be a scam. $82 for a Manix 2 XL and the T&C page has a copypasta ramble about dyelots and red napkins, what could go wrong?
Hej there,
a friend of mine bought this dragonfly (i think on amazon). Is this fake or real?
to me the frn seemed a bit weird and the missing bug made me suspicious.
Bought this on Ebay last month and while I think its authentic, 2 things seem odd.
The T8's are more of a T9 snug fit and the weight is 2 grams lighter.
Comparing boxes to a known authentic Para 3 it is 100% perfect.
The seller has 118 sold spyderco's...
I just purchased a used Techno 2 from the milliepm2p3club Facebook group.
It looks terrific to me - very comparable to my original Techno 1 that I purchased new. A paid a fair price - definitely not a too good to be true price.
Saw this counterfeit Dragonfly on eBay a moment ago and reported it. Seller with 0 feedback and shipping out of China has has several of these for sale. Unfortunately, someone has already bid for one. With the tang stamp misspelling, these should be easy...
I have a special interest in finding reliable methods to identify clones. If I find a way to verify the metal, then that will be a sure way to catch them. Clones don’t use real S90V etc.
I have emailed Spyderco a while back with pictures and a request...
