Spyderco Counterfeits, Clones, Replicas, etc. A place to list and reference all Spyderco counterfeits, clones, and replicas that are found. Anything that isn't a legitimate Spyderco fits in this area.
Hey, everyone!
We successfully moved and updated the forum! Happy to be back! I've noted some new features below. If you find any issues or have any questions, please post them IN THIS THREAD.
Is there going to be an Enuff 2 SE Salt? I have an Enuff 1 SE Salt but the Enuff 2 specs have more appeal. And I know the standard Enuff 2 VG 10 has decent corrosion resistance, but I would prefer H1 or LC200N for my coastal environment.
I have a 1st edition of the Police knife with the pig on it. I know only 2200 were made. I have a right hand one. Can anyone tell me what it is worth. I did carry it for a couple of years back in the late 80s. It has some handling marks on it but not...
Bit by the Spyderco bug, so I decided to join. Own the following:
-1 ea Tenacious (8CR13MOV): Easy to sharpen to a razor edge. Great action. Very nice fit and finish. My general purpose utility knife.
-1 ea Tenacious (M4): Strops nicely. Razor sharp....
I have inherited some Spyderco knives that were most likely purchased in the 80's and 90's, and am having a hard time with identification:

Eric has said all US made Spydercos will eventually get magnacut. I am most excited about the Magnacut Lil' Native. Since the lightweight Lil' native has already been revealed in the latest catalog, I am guessing that will be the one that gets the...
My classic ATS-55 Stainless Police Model dropped and now it does not open properly. The blade over extends to lock in place. With the thumb spring lever protruding up and out of place. I believe that a flat metal locking piece fell out. But, I have it....
I couldn't let the news of a hollow-ground maybe-K390 delica go by uncelebrated. This is now easily my most anticipated knife. Like many of you, over the course of my knife collecting journey, my tastes have evolved towards pure function....
Hi,
I'm the owner of three Spyderco knifes. Delica 4, Native 5 and Chaparral. Delica 4 is the oldest one, serving for more than 10y.

Clip of delica is weak and scratched, so I wanted to replace it. I tried to order new clip...
A while ago I disassembled a UKPK because the backspring had snapped. I have since made a solid version of the backspring out of RWL34 @ around 56hrc, which appears to at least fit OK.
The thing is I put the screws (and female spindles) in a small...
Spyderco does Breast cancer awareness knifes in pink scales. I think if they could do a puzzle piece design scale for Autism awareness would be awesome. It’s a very important movement as well as the scales would be amazing. Just an idea. Anyone else have...
I just purchased my first Spyderco. It's a PARA MILITARY 2 CPM CRU-WEAR MICARTA. While I'm waiting for it to be delivered to my house, I have been doing a lot of research on darkening the handles. I want to darken the scales as fast as...
I would love to see the Caly3 being brought back as a lightweight or even with some fancy scales. I might be wrong but I remember Sal saying that this was a model refined in time with love. I don’t think it was a poor seller but…who knows… your guess is...
I keep a knife in the cupboard in our Kitchen. The knife's purpose is too open, separate, or dismantle anything that comes through the kitchen that needs it. It also operates as a general purpose tool. My wife is the main user. Months ago, I let her try...
Hey folks, got my new Caribbean in yesterday. Really like it. I noticed that the scales have a little play in them to an audible degree. I’m assuming the screws need tightening? What should I do to fix this? Get a torx set and tighten? Thanks for your...
When word first started going around the forums a couple of years ago that a smaller version of the Yojimbo 2 was in the works, my interest was very much piqued. The Michael Janich-designed Yojimbo 2 is my primary work knife, and has been for several...
Now that the Paysan is officially discontinued and supply has dried up, will the value increase in the secondary market like the Nirvana? Personally, I see it settling around the $800-$1,000 range. Thoughts?
Hey all! I'm new to the community and would love some feedback.
I recently have been able to purchase my own spyderco knives (woohoo) and just bought my first PM2 (C81GPBN2, CPM S35VN). I got a really good deal on it (maybe too good?) but it was used...
Anybody have any words of wisdom on using IDME as a veteran with Spyderco? I already have an IDME account and use it at Lowes and other places. I have tried verifying on Spyderco site using an iPad 10 and Windows 11 device and it doesn't work. When I...
I love my Sharpmaker. It is the Toyota Hilux of the knife sharpening world. It just does what you ask of it with zero fuss and minimal maintenance until you are done. No dramas, just a quality field serviceable bit of kit you can take anywhere.
(I meant to ask this in a dedicated thread for some time now, but (silly and off topic) brought it up in two other threads already (see this thread starting here and this thread starting here
Still I think a dedicated thread would be better and would...
I’m in the market for a new sharpener and am trying to decide b/w the gauntlet and the sharpmaker. They seem like a similar setup but the sharpmaker gives an additional angle option. Which do y’all prefer?
I’ve been in the hunt for an Endura 3 Wave for longer than I care to admit. Today that dream became a reality! I know from spydiewiki that there were 500 of them made. Does anyone know anything else about them?
Just curious! I have two printers (Filament and resin) and was wondering if anyone had any luck printing scales or other accessories. I imagine there's the given weakness of PLA and other softer materials to consider but maybe I'm wrong. I was thinking as...
Once it was used in models like Caly, Shabaria, Kris, Street Beat and others. It looks really good when polished and if you're following other (mostly premium Chinese) brands, they use micarta a lot, so there is demand for it.
Yo what's up. I was wondering...since I only got 1 Spyderco which is made in Taiwan and I haven't ''really'' used it so far, can you tell me who does the heat treating in Taiwan, and are those steels made good, in particular CPM-S30V and CPM-M4 from...
I’ve always operated on the assumption that corrosion is a primarily aesthetic issue. I don’t care much about stainlessness, and don’t bother oiling my knives. I like tool steel performance and a clean blade (honestly I hate handling anything...
