Welp, I'm new to Spyderco.. I love knives, but I've never had a Spyderco before.. I started to get interested in them after Hannibal.. ^_^ Now I'm thinking about getting one.. Would it be a wise choice to get a trainer?

I recently read that this knives where only sold to the LEO . What does it exactly mean? I suppose that the civvie and the matriarch are reserved for the police, others milices and army. Their knives are really improper for the utilitary usage?
