Hello friends!Special respect to Sal for the great knives! I've been using Military for a long time - this is my favorite EDC. I'm a doctor and knives are my hobby.I recently got a Civilian but without a clip. What are the options to purchase an original...
in less than a month I will marry love of my life, person I look forward getting old with and my best friend at the same time. Now important question is, what Spyderco to carry this day? There is going to be some charcuterie and cheese boards...
The May 2022 issue of Spyderco Byte includes upgrade of H-1 to H-2 stainless steel.
Due to dynamic changes in the Japanese steel industry, H-1 will no longer be produced. Current inventory of the steel is being rapidly exhausted, as are current supplies...
I have been looking for years for a Spyderco Fish Hunter. I've been scammed and I'm starting to lose hope. Is there anyone who knows where to find one or can sell me one? I'd be more than ecstatic. It's a perfect knife for my needs. Thanks guys.
One of Spyderco's finest high-end folders to date if you ask me. Splendid fit and finish, stellar blade and ergos....and yet it doesn't seem to be very popular even among the ''connaisseurs''. Most seem to gravitate around the same 5-6 models. I wonder...
First time posting. I bought a used Atlantic Salt H1 full serrated with a yellow handle. The blade is perfect and seems untouched. However, the handle seems to have seen better days. Maybe too many hours in the sun and in salt water.
To kick off this thread, I'm going to use 10V from the rivers edge run on the pm2. I tested the more recent Para 3 and it matched the pm2 in terms of wear resistance. The 10V runs have been compared to the bento...
I’ve had this for many years. I don’t even remember where I got it. Looks like a Worker Mini or something?. I have never seen another like it. IMG_4483.jpeg IMG_4481.jpeg IMG_4480.jpeg IMG_4480.jpeg
Any chance the GB2 has undergone CQI to address the weak detent? Has anyone noticed a difference in the CruWear version? The detent is the only thing holding me back from buying one.
Members: Looking for ideas for my next Spyderco. I have a small knife box with six slots and I already have the following:
- Tenacious M4
- Endura 4 (combo saber) VG-10
- Delica 4 (plain saber) VG-10
- Para 3 (digital camo scales with DLC blade) S45VN
-...
Anybody ever check their sales tax from the SpyderCo store and realize its incorrect. Northern Virginia zip is being charged 7% instead of 6%. Two emails have gone unresponded. (Customer Service on the phone was very nice however and directed me to...
I know that Golden is at capacity limits in pushing knives through but I wonder if there is a chance that we will see a 52100 Chief? I know that a lot of people have their issues with it but it’s my favorite steel that Spyderco puts out and it’s the...
Hello! I got this Spyderco about 25-plus years ago from a friend who told me it was a police model. I don’t see the “police” mark on the blade like current police Spydercos. The blade length is about 4-1/8” with a handle length of 5-1/4”. It’s stamped G2...
Spyderco's 50th founding anniversary is only two years away, in 2026.
I'm fairly sure management has already decided on what model they will use, but what would your guess be? And what special details could said knife contain like high-end handle scales...
Post about your sharpenings. Brand, grit, abrasives, grit progression, desired edge finish, decision making in sharpening, whatever you want. Might be interesting to see what people use for certain tasks, and will give insight into the results of others'...
I figured we could get a thread going on different Spyderco screw sizes. Frequently google'ed subject, ebay sellers make a fortune selling them, and the factory screws are not really standard sizes :)
I like DLC. It has a nice look, is super hard, and helps a little with corrosion resistance. I'm thinking of doing it to one or 2 of my knives with an aftermarket DLC coating service.
Are there any annealing concerns with CruWear, S90V or 15V in...
Was looking at fixed blades at various online knife companies. It just seems like something is missing. Especially in areas that Spyderco makes excellent folder knives steel wise. To me it is a mystery that Spyderco doesn’t have a current fix blade knife...
I'm wondering how many people use a lanyard on a pocket knife. To me, it's a useless ugly hole that in many cases interferes with the position of the pocket clip so the knife cannot be deep carried. A lanyard is useful on a fixed blade for retention when...
I lost this knife in November of last year, so it has been chilling in the dirt and leaves through a very rainy winter. I disassembled it and cleaned it up, which removed most of the rust that was mainly concentrated in the jimping, around the detent ball...
Maybe yall can help me, I feel like I’m going crazy. Years ago, I could have swore I had in my possession an Endura (OR endela) that was BLUE/GREY in color that had the armorer tool in the same spot as the lone wolf….BUT it was spring loaded and like...
Has anyone else gotten a C223PYL yet? I have several para 3 lw’s. I don’t recall any of them having the edges of the scales be this sharp. Catches the back of my hand pretty good when going in pocket to get other stuff.
Swapped some titanium scales onto my manix and noticed you could peel the liners and scales apart and the scales would click around due to the lanyard tube not being press fit anymore, so I decided to add a extra standoff and screws onto the knife with...
I just love the look of this fixie by Chad Kelly, called the Heron . Does anyone else dream of a CK collaboration with a classic design like this? Maybe in a steel balanced a bit toward toughness? It looks like a tremendously useful outdoor knife.
As I've been promising for some time now, I've decided to start a thread outlining the different varieties of the Spyderco Model C09 CoPilot (both production varieties and after-market embellished versions). This thread will be a work in progress and I...
I’m really happy to add another knife to my collection today. My PM2 in SV45N rapidly became my favorite knife when I got it last summer. When I saw the PM2 Salt version with Magnacut blade, I just had to get one. I won’t bore you with pics,...
i, I wonder if you could possibly help? I’ve loved Spydies for at least 30 years but only bought three for myself in this time because managed to keep them safe! This one has been my daily carry for maybe 20 years; or 18? No real idea. Never sharpened but...
