tl;dr
SE are the bees knees and you need to get with the program. Just as with PE knives, not all SE knives are created equally and different combinations perform better than others. Towards the end there's a bit of why I'm bothering with all this if...
I’d like to thank all of you for the great information on the issue mentioned. My primary purpose for the thread was more to raise awareness that it is a problem and hope that just the greater awareness would help...
There has been some discussion and fair amount of frustration on the question of Spyderco choosing not to ship internal parts. The subject is far more complicated than it might appear on the surface. Some of the questions...

This forum has some of the most kindhearted people that I have ever met . So many of you are always willing to help someone in need. It is for that reason that I felt I had to post this.
Recently there was someone who posted about challenges they were...
Hey yall! I was perusing on BHQ and came across a fully serrated Persistence lightweight in S35VN. According to the description, it was supposed to be made available in June of this year, but it appears it is still not available. Anyone know if and when...

Every week I see some really great pics on this forum so I thought we could have a weekly competition. The competition will last from Monday to Sunday and the winner and runner up will be announced on Sunday evening. The winner will be the judge for the...
I live by the ocean and with high edge retention tool steels after a week what was a hair popping sharp blade becomes an edge that shaves, but not like before and that is without use. My solution has become zip lock sandwich bags to keep the knives and...
I’ve got a PM2 and while I like the blade shape, in prolonged used, it’s just not comfortable. Thinking the Stretch 2 would be a good alternative since the blade does are radiused and that hump towards the rear of the grip isn’t there. I’m curious about...
Now that CPM SPY 27 has been out a couple years, I want to hear some feed back from people who daily carry this knife. I have read all of the reports of tests on the stock of this steel, I do not want to hear about those. I am not interested in hearing...
This thread will start out with the Native 5 Salt since at this time it's our only option for SE MagnaCut, but as more models become available I will probably move to larger blades but I plan to keep using this Native for long term results.
I really want a Manix LW in Spy 27 because I like the steel and I like the Teal/ sea foam color, but I refuse to buy one with pinned construction. I know I can get a great deal on a pinned version in a few places, but I’m still not interested at any...

Post about your sharpenings. Brand, grit, abrasives, grit progression, desired edge finish, decision making in sharpening, whatever you want. Might be interesting to see what people use for certain tasks, and will give insight into the results of others'...
Why is everything out of stock on the spyderco website? Is it limitations on steel? Labor shortage? Machines that cannot be repaired? The ebay prices are nuts. Every old used knife is selling for near list price on the auctions.
the kopa. What a fine little knife. For its size, it is easily my favorite folder. Like the dragonfly, don’t let it’s size fool you, it’s a knife that’s designed exceedingly well for use. I appreciate how the series was focused on being beautiful, limited...

Hi, I have ordered Yojimbo 2, main purpose EDC, all kind of tasks, self defense comes not so important, though Im interested in art, but hope it never need to be used. So for classic everyday tasks is this Yojimbo 2 good knife or which recommendations...
Just that! I’ve got K390, 4V and 52100 all with Spyderco’s “Satin” finish, if that’s what it is called, and they all develop rust spots just looking at them.
Now here comes 15V with one of the best blade finishes, IMO, Spderco makes and I haven’t seen...
Mentioned in the Spyderco Shot Show 23 (Blade HQ) video, Eric mentions a new blade coating, anyone have any information on this? Is this to combat interference in heat treating? :thinking

I love the Delica. I tried them all, I go back and forth but at the end of the day I have to admit... Delica is probably the most iconic 3 incher edc spydie and best seller for a reason. It's almost perfect as it is, at least for and in my hand...but...

Well, I might need to buy four or five and just have that be my go-to knife from here on out. When Sal announced the first iteration of the S2XL, this is the setup I was dreaming about and now it's actually happening....and it's NOT a sprint run! Woo!...
sal just dropped the bomb that they are working on an enuff 2 with a thinner stock and longer blade. as someone that's been watching this model and wanting one for a while, i'm excited about the prospect of a next gen model.

My Spydie sense is tingling! Vvvvvvvvvvvvvvv!
I think this one is going to be extremely popular. Triple B and all.
Maybe not today... Maybe not tomorrow... Let's just be patient and let this sink until the time comes.
I would never tell anybody what to...
I was looking for a pacific with that edge and I couldn't find one. I checked the main spydie site and it looks like it isn't offered. is it because they lose money on these type of edges or does it have something to do with the H1 steel?
I'd love a new fillet knife by Spyderco and have mentioned it often in the past. I like to fillet over the rib cage, and skin with a pure plain edge. Serrated edges have a tendency to rip through skin, something I'm not interested in (during the skinning...
I got a brand new S90V CF Native Chief and the action is pretty stiff – not easy to open with one hand and tension when closing even when back lock is fully pressed. So I put a drop of nano oil on the blade tang and shaken the knife to distribute it in...
Hello,
I’m new here and while I’m not a stranger to all things sharp and pointy, I am new to the Spyderco.
I work in the Aerospace industry and have been for 43 years. I have always had some form of blade in my pocket, toolbox and tool pouch. I even...
