Waiting for my Indigo Blue G. Sakai clutch lock but I have one problem, I don't like blue. I've seen some on e-bay antiqued indigo blue and it looks like they've just removed most of the anodized color. I was thinking of removing the handles and putting...
I wonder if the dodo is in fact the thinking man,s krambit . Around here the krambit would excite the local Gendarmes quite a bit, a dodo is wellbelow radar ,& looks cute ,plus it has a lot of utility potential. I,ve always been a lover of long handles &...

Acknowledging that adequate lock strength is an important consideration in chosing a folder that would be relied upon for self-defense purposes, what does the research actually say about the frequency and cause of lock failure in self-defense situations,...
I figure that one of the two will be my next Spyderco purchase (I'm a huge fan of recurved blades), though I'm unsure if the Civilian's G-10 and slightly longer blade length are worth the price hike. Can anyone tell me if it's worth it to go the more...
And how easy is it to use? I'm really considering one, as I've got a few knives that could use a touch-up, but I'm worried that my admittedly pathetic sharpening abilities will do more harm than good. How effective is the set when used properly, and how...
I know how spyderco says that the knives are made for cutting only, so I never put any torque on the blade. Only pressed down on the blade when I was cutting.
I've had it since around october. Opened/cloased it about 2-3 thousand times.
This past Saturday in the prison, on second shift, an inmate attacked a Kitchen Supervisor, kicking him in the head and slicing his head open with the jagged lid of a large, tin can. The supervisor required twelve staples to close the wounds in his head....
