Spyderco Counterfeits, Clones, Replicas, etc. A place to list and reference all Spyderco counterfeits, clones, and replicas that are found. Anything that isn't a legitimate Spyderco fits in this area.
Are, for example, the Stargate, Wegner, Chinook, Centofante, etc. still being produced. If so, why are they not listed in Spyderco's online catalogue? Thanks.
This may sound silly but, what are the benefits in getting a SHARPMAKER, if I can have my Spyderco knife sharpened for free professionally by SPYDERCO?

Its 2:45 am and I just got back from seeing Resident Evil at the theater. Holy smokes was that a cool film. It WAS a little bit freaky, but the cool factor was out of this world. There was some VERY real-looking graphics on that one, so real...
I've noticed the Spyderco Ronin will be slightly different than the original--micarta handle instead of G10, double-flat-grind blade instead of chisel-grind, and 3 holes in the handle instead of 2.
I have to say that Mike Sastre sure does ship out his sheaths very fast. I mailed an order at the beginning of the week and had my sheath by the end of the week.
The sheath I got was for a Micarta Calypso JR and the fit was just right, the break away...

Alright, I'll admit that I NEED one of these guys. So, can anyone tell me where I might acquire one? I've seen them for $70 something in the past, but I'll take any good leads.
As there's been quite a few threads on these 2 knives on this forum, I thought I'd post a few of my observations. I'd used both for several months now. Both these knives are roughly the same size, with the Nav being a tiny...

Being an owner of two Endura's and a ladybug, i was going thru the latest catalog to select my next Spyderco knife. I noticed that alot of knives have different steels and different grades.. but what i want to know are the differences of each type. Is...
The Sporting goods virus. I was in Specialty Sport and Supply, and I was looking at knives to start, and I found a rifle, a scope, a knife pouch, and on.
I came close enough to getting the rifle, that I had to leave and take a cold shower, but, that...
I've got one of the IS CX02 solid handled Almite Navigators in the serrated SpyderEdge from SFO. Was there a PE version? If so, anybody know what the Product ID is, and maybe where I could find one? (Besides the obvious, Bladeforums & eBay. )
Ok, so I was sitting by my computer and I decided to see just how strong the linerlock was on my new Centofante PE. I took the knife, (without the SecureLock) and rapped the spine of the blade smartly on the palm of my left hand. And that's when it...
Without hesitation I admit the Chinook is a great knife, but for some reason I just don't get that 'have to have it' vibe. I'm familiar with the materials, construction and have even handled one, so I've no doubt as to it's quality I just don't get that...
