Spyderco has produced thousands of marketing assets over the past 40+ years. We’ve learned that many of our customers have kept old catalogs, old ads, brochures, and flyers. We would love to be able to include them in our historical archive, and we’re...
There has been some discussion and fair amount of frustration on the question of Spyderco choosing not to ship internal parts. The subject is far more complicated than it might appear on the surface. Some of the questions...
I’d like to thank all of you for the great information on the issue mentioned. My primary purpose for the thread was more to raise awareness that it is a problem and hope that just the greater awareness would help...

This forum has some of the most kindhearted people that I have ever met . So many of you are always willing to help someone in need. It is for that reason that I felt I had to post this.
Recently there was someone who posted about challenges they were...

Heres your chance to snap a pic of your spyderco friends with an eye where an eye should be: in the spEYEderco hole!
If we get enough eye pics maybe we can petition a spEYEderco poster! Who knows!?
I'll start;
I recently acquired a sharpmaker from Amazon, and I've noticed that the hand guards are steel rather than brass, as are all of the ones I've seen from Amazon.
Link: There’s a guy who bought a seconds knife that bleeds all over his food apparently. It’s quite the interesting discussion but be warned that 95% of what you read might be nonsense or foul language.
This may seem like a dumb question but I am wondering what all you millie/police guys are cutting where the long blade folders become helpful/preferred/needed????
I EDC a Delica or UKPK or a Sage 5 and for my needs I...

With the implementation of the Endela, the Endura family got a middle ground model sized between Endura and Delica (though as a matter of fact closer to the Endura than the Delica)
I think it would be great if in the (backlock) Salt line the gap...
I keep reading over and over about the food prep done with folding knives, even some YT channels put it up. Not that there would be something wrong about it, but I am just surprised how often it is mentioned.
I have a Para 3 in Spy27 that I have been really enjoying lately, particularly since the steel seems to be holding up so well. I wondered if others had similar results, so I started looking into it a bit. Latin Thomas’ research seems to put the toughness...

Given how popular the BM Bugout and Minibugout are mainly for their ultralight weight, I am a bit surprised that the upcoming Salt 2 ffg in LC200N is not talked about more as an alternative.
Or actually is not marketed a bit more broadly as THE...
I bought this LC200N blade because it was suggested to be an ideal choice for food prep. Last night I used my knife to slice some grilled bratwurst. This morning I noticed brown stains on the blade, so I've tried to clean it first with some windex, then...
The very first Spyderco folder that I bought that was designed by ERIC GLESSER was his Dodo model. And it was back in 2003 when Spydercoa put out the very first run of the Dodo model. The same week I got a PE Blue version and also an SE Black handled...

Well, I feel like a little kid right now just waiting for Santa, in this case the Mail person. I am waiting on 3 Spydercos: a Delica super blue, Cat G10, and Pacific salt spyderedge. What's in the mail on your side of the woods?

I was checking the edge on my waterway since I had just been hiking with it, and I realized something. I really like that knife, like, I REALLY like that knife. I mean just every angle had been carefully considered, and she cuts so well, and the steel,...
Hey All: I've got a small Spyderco collection and I've decided to edc my Stretch 2 FRN ZDP-189 knife this summer. I love the ergos on the knife. When I got it, the blade had a mirror-edge finish on it that felt really sharp. Reading the low-grit...
The Delica wharncliffe sprint run in HAP40 and burnt orange FRN is my all time favorite work knife. So much so that once they had been available for awhile and everyone who wanted one was able to get one... I went back and bought a couple more in case I...
None of my family members or friends carry a knife (as I have done since I was a kid and received the first one from my grandfather -a small knife so used by him (he was a carpenter) that, after been sharpened for decades, it had lost a third of its...
I cant put it down or even part with it to be completely honest. It's for me the perfect EDC. It has a great fidget factor which is useful because I deal with anxiety to the extremes so the para3 doesn't just provide me a cutting tool but it provides...

How would you feel about Spyderco doing a custom knife shop? Sal Glesser said recently on the Spyderco forums that there are some plans and a lot of internal interest in this.

I have no pre-order anywhere. :( and as far as I can see, there's no shop taking any pre-orders anymore - at least none of the big shops that ship worldwide.
You think I'll get a chance? I really want this version of the Shaman so badly....

I am a huge fan of Spyderco knives. I have been carrying my Pacific Salt Black PE every day for about 18 months and have been very happy with it. I figured what better way to show my appreciation for such a great knife than to contribute something that (I...
Just recently I've been going through my footlocker and I've been admiring some of my Old School/GoLDEN ERA models in my collection. As I've said so many times in the past that many of my favorite Spyderco models have been from the Old School models which...

The Urban is one of the greatest pocket knives ever, some think the light weight is the greatest. It is just the right size and the frn has just the right texture for city carry and use. Post your pictures. Let’s see them.

Okay, we have SPY27, we have S45VN, and soon (gosh I hope soon!) we'll have Larrinite. I'm pretty sure all of them will see ALOT of representation in future Spydies.
What do you think, which steel will we see the most, and longest? And why? Everybody...

I recently picked up a Chaparral after hearing so many good things about it. I've read many of Wartsteins posts raving about one of the thinnest Spyderco blades in a folder. The constant talk of the sub 2mm blades performance solidified my decision to buy...

Every week I see some really great pics on this forum so I thought we could have a weekly competition. The competition will last from Monday to Sunday and the winner and runner up will be announced on Sunday evening. The winner will be the judge for the...
I feel like the Paramilitary 2 is one of if not the most popular Spyderco. Wouldn't a Paramilitary 2 in a trainer be great? What are your thoughts? Would you want a trainer in this model? :spyder:
