I received an Aebl Mule and have never been so much, on the fence about a blade before. By my eye it appeared to be ground a little deep, and the leftover burr is obvious. I did spend a fair week weighing pros and cons of sending it back to Spyderco....

Hello fellow spider enthusiasts! I have been working on a sheath that is nearly entirely 3d printed. It does require 6 M3 bolts/nuts. It can be printed without supports, but I recommend them, only for the recesses for the nuts/bolts.
The thumb ramp on the Mule is abrupt, and prone to hurt the thumb when using sabre grip, if the blade stops short. Would the mule series be ruined if the thumb ramp were relaxed a few degrees in upcoming mules? More of a Manix-style thumb ramp, perhaps?...
This is the only way I am really keen to see Spyderco modify the Mule platform. A PE and SE of each future Mule release would be fantastic. Also, releasing serrated versions of past steels would be... add superlative.
