What year did Spyderco start the Byrd line?

I am thinking of buy a meadowlark, but I wanted to know if it has steel liners on the inside? I tried looking around but can't find an answer. Thanks for any help.

Hey guys. Does anyone know if the handles from a FRN Delica 4 and a G10 Meadowlark 2 are interchangeable w/out damaging either knife? I'd like to put a Delica blade in the ML handle.
