Oh yeah, I’d really like to see the Bodacious too.

Re: What do you want to see at Shot Show 2024?
… Endela Salt Police Salt (how about “ Revenue Cutter ” for a name, after the LE precursor to the Coast Guard?) … LC200N… Street Beat and Street Bowie… A new fixed blade to step into the shoes of the Aqua Salt… A full-size, sheepsfoot H2 PE fixed blade rig knife… I like this name a lot. I didn’t kn...

Re: What do you want to see at Shot Show 2024?
Choiless designs. Fixed blades. Performance Delica (or any equivalent sort of thinner geometries and high hollow grinds). Serrated Spy27. Some models we know about but haven’t really seen “in action” yet (like your knife, BBB). More insight into the recent work on steels and the HIC Mule at Spyderco...

Re: Chips Near the Tips of My Knives
This is right after sharpening on the 400 CBN Spyderco plate. If you look closely, I cut/broke the tiniest bit of my tip off. Magnification is very informative. I can take and post pictures better now, so I have some stuff I want to share (like how I took this picture with my phone). I am not sure i...

Re: Spyderco Collaborators You Would Love to See Again?
More from the minds that brought us the Proficient (Chris Claycomb), Zoomer (T. Zoomer), Province (Sanders and Ankerson), the Sustain (Ackerman), and more. To be real, I’m just asking for more fixed blades because Spyderco’s are some of the best and they have collaborative relationships with an impr...

Re: C95 Manix Sprint
I’m all for a Sprint!
I like the green micarta idea.
It is the best looking micarta Spyderco has recently made knives with.
I would prefer 4V, MagnaCut, Spy27, S45VN or even AEB-L. These are what would grasp my attention in the same way green micarta would, as far as steel goes.

Re: Perfecting the perfection with current materials.
There are definitely some ideas here I like. While I’ve come to really like the CBBL, I do admire the build and subtle qualities of the older backlock Manixes like the different jimping (or lack thereof) and robustness that the forum has made clear to me. The prospect of more Powerlocks is really in...

Re: Bodacious Discussion
I’m not gonna say it’s worth a 50 dollar difference from the Military 2, but the Bodacious does have a grind similar to the Shaman and the G10 appears to be finished smooth (not just peel-ply). This does mean there are some different/extra steps that could feasibly affect labor and machining costs. ...

Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!
Just out of interest (and I’m not trying to derail this thread at all, but also don’t want to basically duplicate it in a new one) what distributor exclusive of the LW chief are people most looking forward to/hoping for? I personally am practically frothing at the mouth at the thought of a St Nicks...

Re: The WolfSpyder - any updates?
I was actually pretty interested myself. The knife is cool, but having that on your website without Spyderco’s input is not. I’ve been half expecting a new version for a good long time because I’d seen their website. I liked the blade, no choil, and green g10, but I missed out, so I had my eye out f...

Re: Future Rockjumpers?
I climb trees a lot, just because I enjoy it. If Florida had more rocks, I would climb them too. Anyway, the serrated Rockjumper is my favorite knife overall and the best knife for the job. My K390 Leafjumper is my second favorite. However, here are my thoughts. A lot of the trees I climb are mangro...

This fence has a lot of cool textures, including some seasonally appropriate claw marks.
I found a place where the knife would vertically balance just right on its clip to get a neat photo.

Re: Reveal 14 Live!
I’m going to lay out my perspective so it’s hopefully more clear where I’m coming from. Not trying to do a repeat of the Military 2 discussion. Relative to the Shaman, there’s a significant functional design change in removing the choil (something that consequently alters the edge length and grip ar...

Re: Reveal 14 Live!
It’s not really about whether or not the Bodacious can be a new model and a variant at the same time. That’s exactly what it is. No doubt. Regardless, in my eyes, the Bodacious appears to be a fairly distinct design for Golden and rarely is a variant so extensively modified. It’s at least as much as...

Re: Reveal 14 Live!
If the Bodacious is not a new model, neither is any other model in any of Spyderco’s knife design “families” after the original design. Aside from that, I agree that I’m still looking forward to new designs. It is cool that they can still surprise with something like the SpyMyto, though. I was expec...
