https://i.postimg.cc/sDDYsxH8/IMG-2911.jpg Shoutout to Going Gear for hook’n me up with a Catcherman, it’s a pretty dang good fillet knife and lightweight to boot…you can place your index finger on the spine in front of the Spydie hole and really control the tip…super thin blade stock and easily Sp...

Re: Chaparral
Wartstein I still believe there is a misunderstanding. I was only talking about the Chaparral and Chaparral LW, not a new model. Chaparral = No changes except handle material and finish. Chaparral LW = A departure from the original series - fair game to change whatever they want. Again, I’m not try...

Re: Chaparral
Wartstein - I was simply stating my opinion. I was not trying to incite a passionate discussion. If I’m interpreting your response correctly, it does not sound like you understood what I was saying. (Apparently no one ever does though, so please don’t take that the wrong way. It’s a “me” problem.) ...

Re: Chaparral
I’m aware that the Chaparral LW FRN model was introduced as a way of offering less expensive variations of color, steel, edge, etc. but I still personally hold a lot of value in the overall consistency the Chaparral has had to this point. “All knives in this series share the same basic characteristi...

Re: Roadie: Tell Me About This Knife
Mister Coffee Don’t let anyone convince you it’s not a capable knife. This pumpkin was carved primarily with the Roadie. https://i.imgur.com/9CbDwFr.jpg It’s as much a Spyderco as any other and it’s a big part of their history in my opinion. It’s the first and only knife to feature Sals ingenious s...

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
JD Spydo Thats not what I meant. What I mean is that I feel the same way watching NFL games now as I felt when I was watching WWF matches when I was 10 years old and learned it’s fake. Just heartbroken. Whether or not that makes sense… I don’t know. 🤷♂️ These NFL games obviously aren’t choreograph...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!
Remember the hype surrounding this knife is largely an appeal to popularity. You do not need to be part of a the most recent trend to qualify yourself as a “loyal Spydie guy.”Eliteone2383 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 7:15 amWait am I not a loyal spydie guy if I don't have a slysz bowie? Guess I need to drop coin next time they are in stock.

I’m a big fan of all the love the Lil Native suddenly seems to be getting but there are too many Lil Natives as it is, in my opinion.

Re: Can we get some Ultem scaled Sekis please?
I though that the hype of this pee-through material has waned already. The material is making its rounds in other industries now as well, such as fashion. (Watches, sunglasses, jewelry, etc.) I don’t think it will go away completely but it will probably be trendy for a little while longer before so...

Re: Spyderco 50th Anniversary Knife?
It’s a 50th anniversary not a 5th though. Putting a little 5 next to the Spydiehole just flat out wouldn’t read as “50.” It would read as a “5” next to the Spydiehole. There aren’t many, if any, knives that offer enough space next to the Spydiehole to make the “5” large enough to make it read as a “...

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Again, I’m going to go ahead and guarantee that the Chiefs win Superbowl 59. I don’t need to know how a single roster ends up being composed, the Chiefs are going to win it all again no matter what. Precious Patrick will do something Brady never did and the NFL is just licking their chops thinking a...

Nicely done, Nick! :grin-big eyes I like playing frisbee quite a bit too: Did a bit of ultimate a long time ago, now just very (!) basic freestyle-stuff and recreational throwing for fun. Thanks! :respect I played Ultimate back in high school but now I just play disc golf. I’ve played for many year...

Re: SALT Liners
The peel ply is pretty rough on the jeans pocket IMO. Curious as to what other think. There are *very few* new knives anymore that I would actually like to purchase someday in the future. I say "someday," because if I ever do purchase another knife, it won't be anytime soon. The PM2 Salt ...
