She wants a white knife. That means you can go L'bug or D'fly and she'll be pleased either way. I'd say L'bug as a starter knife. Try and give her another color and she might not be as happy. ;)

Sublove!!!

I've had my Subclaw a few days now and have to say I love it. The hawkbill blade lends itself well to the small package. Its like a little scalpel. It has made mincemeat out of clam packs, opened mail, & helped me dead head some flowers and trim plants in the garden. I love it. Wharcom is next o...

Mtech are notorious for copying/borrowing heavily from other designs to produce cheap knock offs. They have a knife that's very Spin like.

OUCH. That doesn't look or sound like fun. My Uncle, also a LEO, had a fall while on duty chasing a bad guy. He also landed on rebar- it went through the side of his knee. A few surgeries and many years later he's fine and still chasing the bad guys.

Take care and rest up.

My girlfriend carries an FRN Bladetech mouse. At first she thought it was too big. Now I think she's a bit fond of it. It's a nice little knife.

PS. Is it just me or does anyone else like potato chips in their pbj?
Seems that would call for a sturdy chip. Perhaps something kettle style for a good crunch.

Keep voting, please remember a less expensive knife is more likely to maximize the number of participants. Think D'fly or Ladybug.

I love it as well. I think G-10 looks nicer, but for EDCing, FRN wins hands down for me. Tough, light, grippy and durable.

So after all this I picked up a Subclaw on ebay. Couldn't pass up the price. So the decision was made. Now I can't wait to get it. It's my first CLB & my first hawkbill. Thanks for those that voted, I'll have to get the Wharcom next time...
