Put a small piece of heat shrink tube on it.

This would make a neat forum knife. I say that because I’ve known about these and never once seen one for sale on the myth that sal handed them out randomly at meets and shows. I’m sure the people who have them keep them close to the chest. Such a cool way to up cycle a product.

I was 17 and it was a ATS-55 PE Spyderco Endura with the big FRN clip. Still have it too!

I believe it’s a channel for debris to accumulate instead of effecting the lockup. It’s not a defect, all 4 of my paramilitaries have this.
