Some ZT knives might be better for prying because they're so thick, but that's not what I use knives for. If I was a soldier and I had to do any real prying, I wouldn'y be carrying a folder for that job. I prefer Spydies over ZT and I think you'll find at least a slight bias here towards Spydies, bu...

I must admit that I have seen a little bit of this happening on this forum. there are always people that are a little off, or wet behind the ears, to me they add variety, and shouldn't be picked on. this forum has very little of that, so that is why I'm here. It use to be zero. I definitely agree w...

Hi Kaizen, Just went through the project list. 39 Spyderco's, 3 Sharperners and 3 byrds, that you don't know anything about. These are models for which tooling has already been started. There's another 50+ designs in the works. sal Wow, 89+ models in the works? I guess that guy on BF was right, Spy...

Outside of food prep, don't really have much need for FBs anymore, and if I ever were to hunt again my superstitious side would proabably win and I'd wind up carrying the same Buck Caper I always did. On top of that, I think that the same design parameters that make for a superb folder would amost ...

I'm not a BIG light fan, but I EDC a Night Ops Gladius modified to 180+ lumens. If I were to get something else, it would most likely be a Novatac with a Surefire following closely behind.

Which folders would you like to see as fixed blades & vice versa?

I think it was Capt Carl that said he wanted to see a folder Street Beat. Gotta agree with that 100%. I was just playing with some folders thinking how comfortable they were and wondered how they might be as a fixed blade. Fixed Military anyone? Which ones would you be interested in converting into ...

Just got my CF ZDP Caly 3

I played with it once so I already knew I was going to really, really, realy, really like it. I have to admit, I wasn't very interested in the Caly 3 until I got my hands on it. But you'd think I would've learned my lesson by now. My current favorites were ALL unappealing to me when I first saw them...

There's a Harpy on eBay right now going for $190, but that's a carbon fiber version. There's also regular Harpies going for $60. I read a post by Sal saying that SE H1 is similar in edge retention as PE S30V. I say SE Tasman or PE Harpy. I'm not a fan of SS handles and I don't mind the the shortened...
