Re: PARA 2 and MILITARY models prohibited in Canada

I lived in couple parts of the world with strict knife rules. Wasn't happy about not being able to carry my beautiful blades. I feel your disappointment and frustration. Especially that you are not even able to get them, easily. I guess as strict as the rules were, I always found something to carry ...

Re: paramilitary 3

Like it now. A lot! Had my reservations about it at first. Didn't really feel I needed it. Felt a bit cumbersome to handle compare to PM2. It is just such a fun smaller knife. Smaller in the pocket; fun to play with; sufficient for everything I have put it through over the last 10 days. Picked up my...

Re: Sticky deployment on pm2

For the stickiness, I would recommend tinkering with the other screws on the handle. Different flavor of PM2, but what worked for me: loosen up all the screws until your blades falls freely even if there is blade play in the pivot. Tighten the pivot so it still falls freely but there is no blade pla...

Re: paramilitary 3

One more thought. You definitely need more than one knife :D . Like you said, get yourself a P3, and somewhere down the line, try something different. Where I am at today, Mrs. took my Delica 4. She loves it. Small, lightweight, great knife for her. I am giving my Manix 2 LW to a buddy. It was a fun...

Re: paramilitary 3

Fun factor, that it is. 3oz it is not. Did a weigh in of my fleet. Most are as advertised or lower. As far as my Spyderco knives go, - Manix 2 LW - 3.0oz - as advertised - Delica 4 - 2.4oz - as advertised - PM2 - 3.8oz - hair lighter, 3.9 advertised - Para 3 - 3.5oz or 3.4oz. I guess it depends on w...

Re: paramilitary 3

IMG_2834.JPG The end of that clip seems to stick up instead of flat. Does it dig your palm? Not at all. Both PM2 and P3, for my hands and grip, have a hot spot in the middle of the top of the handle, both chocked up and regular. Not bad, but it is there with firm grip. I can't feel the clip, this o...

Re: paramilitary 3

For that clip from MXG Gear, I think there are two versions of this one; short and long. This is the shorter one. There are also other options from this seller for the Para.

Re: paramilitary 3

Hello, fellas. New to the board here. I've been looking/obsessing over getting the "perfect" EDC knife ... Out of the two, I only have the Para 3. I get my clips from MXG Gear on ebay - blue4you2010 is the seller. They go for about $25. I have them on my Delica and PM2 as well. Very happy...
