Sal, a few questions about the Military family

Hi Sal, I have a few questions about the Military/Para line. 1. When do you plan on doing another run on the Fluted Ti Military? I just ordered a regular titanium one. 2. What's the status on Paramilitary (standard production, not sprint-runs) 2 production. Are you still far behind on production? 3....

Welcome to the forum. Great choice. I want to pick up a Zulu at some point in the very near future because I like Anso designs and it is now discontinued.

Just wondering if Strech with 3.5" blade is legal to carry in NJ? Anyway I voted Native - love ergos and choil. Also I think that "Made in US" for a boy scout can be a factor. But to tell the truth I would wait a few month N5 FRN should be out fairly soon. I think we have a four inch...

I'm leaning towards Spyderpac I want to be able to store them without having to have them sitting on display all the time because being the age I am, it can be a little weird to have this giant thing with sharp things in my room all the time. + if I'm going to my lake house for the weekend, I want t...

Welcome to the forum. I've always kept the Manbug in the back of my mind as a knife I want to pick up at some point along with many others. Hope you enjoy it.

Native, Delica, or Stretch

Which do you like better. I plan on picking up one of these smaller, mid range folders for Boy Scouts because my knives that I carry right now are too big. I'm mostly leaning towards the Native Lightweight but just wanted your opinion.

Welcome to the forum. You owe it to yourself to spend $10 extra and go with the Native Lightweight. It's made in Golden and has very high quality CPM-S30V steel. It's available for like $65 on amazon. See this link to buy it. http://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-Native-Lightweight-Plain-Knife/dp/B0002IO16...

Just wondering if it is true that the carbon fiber scales are not all carbon fiber. But instead they are g10 with a thin layer of carbon finer on top. Anyone care to clarify? Depends on the knife and maker. For the Sage, that is a true statement. The handles are done by taking G10 and putting a ver...

I have a Manix2 and want a Para but can't get it anywhere right now. IMO there's absolutely a point in owning both.

Don't know the difference but IMO neither are good. They rust easily and don't hold an edge as well as some other low-end foreign produced steels like the Chinese crMoV stuff. I'd take pretty much anything over AUS steels but idealy 440C, BD-1, really any CPM steel, etc, etc. What I'm getting at is ...

Fantasy Baseball

Creating a fantasy baseball league this year. Making preparations now so I don't have to worry when we get closer to the season. Does anyone play? I'm looking for a good site to host the league on. I was thinking Bloomberg Front Office (I'm not positive they actually have a league service but they o...

Spyderco Knife For Boy Scouts

I am a boy scout and as you know they have pretty strict knife rules. Believe it or not, the Spydercos I have and carry on a daily basis are too large. Which knife do you think is safe to carry when at boy scout meetings and events?

International CES 2013

If you ever read my bio on my profile, you know not only into knives but am also interested in consumer technology. The International Consumer Electronics Show 2013 will be happening from January 8-11 in Las Vegas. No, although I've been to Vegas before, I won't be going to CES but I will be followi...
