Glad you like it Pat, and a great review. Always nice to get honest feedback. I can't see any of the pics though....? Seems everyone else can though, must be the wife's settings on her laptop.

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Simon and everyone else for the kind words. This is a great design and even making Simon a longer version it did not take away from Chads design at all. Folder.....no time in the future I can forsee, not there yet in my knifemaking skills. Doc, thanks for posting one of the proto's I made up,...

I really want to see this series but with so many of them I have not had the time to really start to watch them, plus I have only seen them in a video store in Toronto and I am only there visiting a few times a year.

I really enjoyed Zatoichi which is of a similiar theme.

I actually think this "type" of thing has probably been happening for, well, since the beginning of man. It is truly sick. The wife and I watched a Dateline a year or so back and they baited pedophiles into a young girls house. Over the weekend(2 nights) they caught like 40 some odd guys s...

Off to the CKG show in a few days...WOOHOO!!!!

I head to Toronto for the Canadian Knifemakers Guild show on Thursday. It runs all day Saturday and Sunday. I have missed the last few years and finally just bit the bullet and got my plane ticket a few weeks ago. To say I am pumped about this is a HUGE understatement. I hope to pick up a custom fol...

About to EDC my Blue Lum

Had to put a few knives away in my display case and the Blue Lum Chinese was just sitting there calling out to me. Sooooo, I tucked the knives to be put away in and pulled the Blue Lum out. I had forgotten how light and smooth this knife was. I used it lightly back when I bought it a few years ago s...

ATS-34 is a bit more of an improvement over 440C....now take into considerartion proper heat treat. Terribly HT'd S30V won't hold a candle to a good HT'd 440C/ATS-34 blade. Good steel as far as I am concerned. I have used my Cento a bit but like the Deacon have not had to sharpen it other than light...
