Nice idea.
I was thinking in the opposite direction though. Orange g10 with a tool steel made to look like a utility knife.
Might we see a bunch of Yojimbo sprints? The next "it knife" out of Golden.

Grey Lum Tanto Sprint

Spotted at CS, for those in the hunt.
I picked one up since I came into some extra $ working O.T.
For those who want one just a friendly heads up :)

My super blue mule is one of the sharpest knives I've owned and sharpens quite easily. On a thinner Caly blade this thing will be an amazing slicer.
I personally like the patina, it gives it a unique look. Definitely picking up one of these.

This reminds me of all the Manix 2 sprints, some sprints went like crazy based on color of handle with s30v steel, of course the grails were the s90v and xhp steels. I remember seeing posts asking for brown g10 so I think this will be a very popular sprint. I wonder if there going to have as many sp...

I also want to thank you dmon. I'm not sure if you also posted the heads up on the Lum sprint also? That's was what got my initial attention but then saw the cts-20cp para2 listed next to it. I figured that I wanted the newer steel at the lower price instead.
Thanks again :)

+1
I was wondering if this is a series like the Sages.
A super tanto would be nice too.

Great pic SmoothOne, Those are some of the knives I'm interested in.
Do you mind posting your thoughts on them, there hasn't been much said on the rescue.

Thanks

I would buy a toxic green endura or delica if they added it to their colors line.
Just wondered if a toxic yellow would be to similar to the salt series.

is there such a thing as a reverse lock?
a slip joint knife that you would have to manuver a lock to open the knife.
you could still have the spydie hole there but just be there for design purpose.

I've seen pics of that Toxic Green forum knife, how about a Native w/ffg, Para2, or Millie with a black blade. Although Millie might put it out of the price range.

I think there are enough M2 versions out there so I didn't include it.

ordered my Gayle Bradley

So after all the accolades this knife has recieved, I finally ordered mine. :) Went to the Poorfish website and used the "save20" coupon code so my final price was $99.99 with free shipping. This knife is going to share pocket time with my para2 for my everyday working needs. I am a Spydie...

I just put together my Aogami Mule and used it in the kitchen to cut some cucumbers, tomatoes and an apple. It sliced very well and as mentioned before the apple did put a patina on it. I'm very happy with this knife and look forward to putting it to use. I think Sal should look at using this type o...

Sorry if I wasn't clear with my question but you did answer it.
(I was refering to the color of the g10 prior to being machined.)
Thanks for your time and help, I really appreciate it.

I just got a set of opt. 4 black and earth brown scales, and really like how they feel in hand. My question to O.P. is how do you get the scales to the original color? I would like to use them in the kitchen so something food safe. Thank you for posting about these scales, I'm not skilled like some ...

Seeing that custom police knife in the Client was what caused my obssesion of Spydies.
I knew I had to have a knife like that. Not long after I bought a stainless delica and I was hooked.
