Personally I would be looking for a cheap, maybe broken blade Dfly to salvage parts from. yeah, that would be much better, but it`s not as easy as it seems. Since the `fly broke somewhen in spring I am eyballing the `bay and so on, but here in germany, all you can find is mint condition collectors ...

Avanti Dilettanti | How i fixed my Dragonfly

Hey guys - small story: Some time ago i disassebled my G-10 Dragonfly in order to dye the scales to proper black. That worked out fine, but when I put the knive back together I appearently made a big mistake by putting in the spring the wrong way around. That resulted I long term in the break of the...

As you mention it, I think the catcherman will fit the bill
for a fishing purpose spyderco the best. :)

Mine is still 100% black. Can you - or others that did the same dye job - report on the long-term durability of the dye? Is it still holding up good on a user knife? I will dye my dragonfly g-10 as soon as i get hold of the rit dye and i am very interested in your experiences because mine will repl...

in germany you are on the save side with a ukpk, a pingo, an urban or a squeak out of spydercos choice. :spyder: every other nonlocking or not one-hand opening knive shouldn`t give you any trouble either. size restrictions are 12 cm but only for fixed knives, for folders there aren`t any restriction...

Disassemble FRN Dragonfly 2

Hi Folks, i am planning to make titanium scales for my dragonfly 2, and was wondering, if there is any way to disassemble this knife without cutting apart the scales? hmm, nice job DCDesigns , i`m looking forward to see the final result! Did you stonewash the blade or is it just dust? / ah, i see its stonewashed, i`m not sure if i won`t prefer a polished blade on a gentlemans folder like this. I´d like to rescale my Dragonfly 2 with titan scales. But it seems to ...
