Will these "very fine" diamonds be the ones used on the upcoming sharpmaker diamond sleeves/rods?

Yeah, I had thought of that too. I bet that a new mold would be too expensive....

Maybe a spydie bug logo could be engraved onto the blade (like the lum symbol is on the Lum Chinese)...

I have to agree with Jeff/1911. Not having a decent knife store very close, I rely on the web to see models of knives. The problem with that is that proportions are often distorted, and it's hard to judge the size of knives. I was almost ready to order a Military and I saw one at a gun show. I thoug...

I think a dark blue or dark green Calypso Jr plainedge would be great. If there must be an inlay, then I vote for a small (maybe 1/2 inch diameter) spydie bug done in white/silver/yellow/etc something that would look nice against the colored FRN.

Hey Terr...
I had the same problem with mine. I used a green "Sharpie" marker on the exposed aluminum and it covered it pretty well. It doesnt match perfectly, but it works pretty good. (It's not as noticeable any more, at least)

One last question for you Sal.... (if I'm not too much of a nuisance) The serrated edge of this Military has seen quite a bit of use and is quite dull. The teeth of the individual serrations are rounded now instead of pointy. I began sharpening it on the Sharpmaker but I think it is just rounding th...

I saw some older "new" spydercos today at a show. By older I mean ones that have been around a while like the G-10 rookie and Standard and I noticed that the G-10 on them has a different feel than the G-10 of my CPM-440c military. Has Spyderco started using a different type of G-10 or mayb...

Re-Texturing G-10

I recently bought a used Military with hopes that I could bring it back to life. It has been used hard, but it is in reasonably decent shape. This is an older ATS-34 Military (fully serrated) with a 3-screw silver clip. The G-10 was either semi-polished initially, or it has been carried and used so ...

I remember a post concerning changes to the Military model on this forum maybe a month or two ago. There have been quite a few changes I think (all fairly minor though). I dont remember the post stating dates or anything, but you might want to do a search and see if you can find it. here's a short l...
