I have seen other videos by this guy and they are entertaining. His test are to the extreme. Don't we all want to just abuse the Chit out of a knife every now and then to just to see if it can take it????
Maybe Not!

If you send it to STR (custom maker) he can probably fit it with a lower riding titanium clip pretty quickly. He does great work and isn't to expensive. PM me for his e-mail address if you don't have a bladeforums account (he has his own sub forum there) Sverre PS! Great knife, really happy with mi...

That's one thing I don't like either and kept me from carrying mine often. The satin clip and white handle contrast too much against dark colored slacks. Yeah if i can figure out a way to make a clip that lets it ride lower, I would defiantly have this as a EDC.. I don't believe in safe queens but ...

That's an interesting design. I've never seen or used a ball lock. I only have about 22 Spydercos and this one is totally different in design to any one i have. The grip is very versatile and fits my hands like a glove.. (I have med size skinny hands) http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k134/spacewea...

The Phoenix Has Risen

I just checked my mail about 45min ago and the Phoenix was in the mail box. Man this is one sweet knife and it looks great.. This is my first ball-lock and it is very easy to open and all i need to do is engage the ball-lock and with a flick of my wrist it opens up with no resistance, (i don't even ...

I can't imagine any micarta resisting dye more than FRN. I haven't put either under the magnifying glass but would think the pores on injected nylon to be much smaller (if existing at all). Still, I'm not one to toss the dice on such an expensive knife. I would see how you feel about the scales. Th...

Thank you all for the advice, and i just might buy some different color micarta since it is so cheap and make my own scales. IF I mess up at least i have the original one to put back on it.
