Re: Introduction with the Manix 2 Backlock
Excellent write up, sir! Thank you for the nice contribution. (It's just a matter of time... I'll have one) Thank you, that's all I am wishing you! I believe the biggest update to the Native, and now the Manix, lock system is the change to EDM machining of the components (I am not a knife maker, so...

Looking back in time, I rea...

Re: Anyone see Apostle P's rant on Spyderco?
I was able to get about 60 seconds into it.......... If he has nothing better to do than make that 24 minute video he really needs to get a life. The guy is long-winded and immensely boring. Every minute I want to shout "get to the point for Christ's sake!". I can never watch one of his v...

Re: Spyderco prices in Europe exploded !
Same here. I've been buying from the Knife Center for 20 years or so, shipping cost is very reasonable and it takes 7 to 8 days to get to Madrid.JT wrote:I've bought all my Spydies from trusted US dealers for years. Even if there's taxes and custom fees etc, it's still cheaper than buying within EU.

Re: Carbon Fiber - Rough Edges
Thanks for the tips on sanding the CF edges, will certainly do. Gerard Following up: as I did not have any adapted sand paper, I touched up the scales chamfers with the medium-grit rod of my Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker (600 grit I believe, more or less). As the rough parts were mainly on the back...

Re: Carbon Fiber - Rough Edges
First post here, despite having had various Spydies for a long time; happy to be a member of the Spyderco community, finding an answer to my concern right away (below). Same as the OP with my Manix 2 CF CRUWEAR just received yesterday: rough edges, proof is lint caught in the edges while drawing fro...
