The Viele was my favorite before it was improved. Now it is in my pocket every trip to town. The Calypso ltwt and Military are the workhorses around the house.

I have three Vieles so far. (Would love to add #4 with ivory micarta scales)

Just got the new VG10 version of the Viele and my opinion is reinforced that it is definitely the sexiest and most tactile of the collabs. The Starmate and Moran(old) are also very well conceived/executed blades.

Butt, I love the feel of micarta.

My first was a Spyderedged Worker back in 1984. My wife went back to the L.A. County Fair the next day after watching me drool over it at a table. The next was a Viele 2 yrs ago on ebay and the list has grown exponentially from then.

I sit here flicking open my Military and Centofante Jr and trying to visualize the suggested enhancements. I can easily see the pearly G10 adding class and distinction to the C25, butt............. I really have trouble reconciling pearl inserts on the Military. I would much rather see a colored G10...

I have a few of the mini/maxi combos.(Wegner/Centofante/micarta Calypsos) Love to carry them that way. I find a serrated large and plainedged smaller version to be the best configuration for me. Also am fond of carrying the serrated Military with any of a number of smaller Spydies for the day, which...

My first post here, and its a promise to buy another knife. No wonder my wife hates the internet. ><g>
I will take either/both of the suggested forum knives(plainedged). Both are great choices.
