Actually, this reminds me of my son. The day he was born, I had bought a new Delica a month or so earlier, and carried it the day he was born at the hospital, it then went into a safe to be given to him when he is 18 or 21 or when the time seems "right". He is now 8.

I think the "nose" is also needed to enable deployment of the carbide tip on the model that has that feature.

Both my DoDo and D'Allara work fine. Have not had a problem with either locking up, or the lock being difficult
