Re: Spyderco Factory Outlet - Seconds Sale

I got there around 4pm the day before and was about the tenth person in line. I plan on doing the same this year. I had a blast camping out even though it was around 35 degrees and super windy. We still had a blast!

Re: Cutting boards

Mine is Oak. I have a bunch of poly boards too. I use the poly for some things so I can dishwash them or bleach them but for most stuff I use my Oak board. I once worried about wood being porous and not being safe but if you keep it oiled and clean then the tannins in the wood take care of the rest....

Re: Sigh...sharpening advice please

I have always avoided trailing points myself because the difficulty they add to sharpening has always exceeded the utility they add to a blade for me. I know that isn't helpful but I just wanted you to know that I feel your pain. I am a bit of a pro with the sharpmaker and I struggle with upswept ti...

Lynn may be a little different but he certainly is an exceptional person in many ways. People bust on Lynn because of his weight and his company's marketing but he ain't no mall ninja. Check it out. https://youtu.be/FKI1xmtf5Ck" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I wouldn't mess...

It certainly does seem like a great value for what you get. It seems a little chunky for my tastes but I like the scales. How is that crazy jimping on the ring and pinky finger?

Re: Kizer Kecker Collab...

I would be curious to see a knife with a Kleckler Lock. I have never handled one but it looks like an integrated backlock. Maybe something we will see in a Sage? It does appear as though CRKT is making them though.

Re: Spyderco Factory Outlet - Seconds Sale

Arrgghhh, right before Turkey Day? How am I supposed to sneak off and head to DIA if I'll be dragging two kids to see Grandma that day?!? Alright Eli, save a pocket in your coat or space in your pack to stuff some goodies in for me! I think they are always the Saturday before Turkey Day. It was las...

Re: Spyderco fixed blade?

Hey Dan, do you own a mule? They are terrific and if you like the looks of the Temperance then you should like the mule. There are a couple steels available still I believe. You can get some custom scales or just pick up some from Halpern. Grab a Swick to pair up with it. :D http://i166.photobucket....

Re: HAP40 Delica and Endura

Some pics of the Hap40 Endura have been popping up on the dealer sights but here is a blog with some pics of a few new Spydies including the Hap40 Endura and the Proficient. I have been dying to see the actual color of this thing and this is a fairly good photo. :) http://www.thetruthaboutknives.com...

P'Kal? I know that many who want a S110V Yojimbo use theirs for utility but I wonder if S110V is really ideal for self defense purposes?
