I just left the shop and held one in my hands. Really good looking knife. The g10 matched their Delica perfectly. Smooth action and centered blade.

For those that have a V2 knife how does it compare with say zip-189 or hap -40? I’m still going to get a stretch but I would like to know where the blade stands performance wise as compared to other Japanese super steels.

I’ll find out today. I’m gonna head over around lunch time and see if they have came in yet if not I’ll probably hang out at the shop a while until they get their delivery. I plan on getting my father this knife and have my eye on a v2 Delica.

So if you live in or around north Alabama you might want to be where you can order one instead of counting on being able to walk into the store and pick one up. That’s what I was told this evening while I was standing in the store.

Let me clear it up some. If you plan on going into the brick and mortar store they will only have 5 knives per store. The rest of the knives are reserved for internet sales.

Talked to the guys after work today. If you plan on getting by the store to pick yours up each store is only getting 5 each for the shelves. Also if you missed out or have been on the fence about getting their Delica pay attention to their Instagram page. There might be something coming.

I have been waiting for the stretch since this steel was announced. Sadly I think I’ll be waiting forever. Does anyone know where I can get an Endura without going to eBay. Everywhere is out that I’ve looked.

A military M4 at a good price is on my short list.

Can anybody else way in on the mantra? It has really peaked my interest.

I may have to take a look at a mantra. M4 steel is just about the perfect steel for me,it fits my uses as a knife steel better than most every one I’ve tried.

Mine is a GB1 it’s been the only knife I’ve carried for almost a year now and done everything I’ve aske...

I have a question about the overall size. Has anyone tried taking the clip off and just dropping it in the pocket? I’m curious on its pocket manners for lack of better words. My father in law would not use the clip and is in need of a good knife to replace an old cheap one.

Take a look at carter Cutlery. I have a couple of his perfect models. If I could get away with only having a fixed blade (can’t at work) they would be all I would ever carry. They are expensive but worth every penny in my book.
