I saw the Police for $112. How much are the SE Delica and Endela going for? I'm tempted to get a non-stainless for a change, and I love the patina.

I've always thought H1(or now H2)can't be beat for SE. I must say though, VG-10 is incredible also. I have no experience with LC200N.

Thanks for the insider's perspective. We love to hear it, and feel privileged to hear it. It would be incredible to make both and see the results. Many of us would ante up for both, for the cause. I wonder if there is any chance for a dealer exclusive to help fund both, or a way to crowd fund both, ...

It was kind of funny, actually. I looked online for reassembly tips, and the advice was to not disassemble.

Yeah, I dismantled one of those once to try to eliminate the blade play, and made it worse.

I agree that knives with blade play feel cheaper than knives without, and I wouldn't be thrilled with a LC200N Pacific that has blade play, when my H1 does not.

Probably not, but it's annoying. You could try adjusting/tightening it again.

When I was just getting into knives I tried a bunch of different ones. The Cold Steel was an AK-47. I liked it. Spyderco was the last major brand I tried, mostly because of their unusual appearance. I've been all Spyderco and only Spyderco since.

My suggestion is to try a Rockjumper. I don't see how you can go wrong for 60 bucks.

I don't have much to add here, but I will say this thread is interesting and informative. That can't be said about most things one reads online.

I hate it when people die so young.

Is that a coated blade, or just the lighting? That would be perfect in SE!
