Finally got one of my holy grails - the white Endura. This one is brand new in box. Never sharpened. And a sprint ZDP-189 blue Delica to add to my blues collection! This addiction is getting worse!! http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/3029/7q3l.jpg http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/3797/1h83.jpg

I believe that most spyderco knives are let with a bevel closer to 30 degrees inclusive. The lansky system has a 17 and a 20 degree setting. If I were you I would use the 20 degree (40 degree inclusive) and set the bevel that way. I would still recommend using a sharpie to mark the edge and see wher...

Does anyone know, besides the old clipit delicas, the dodo, the para2, and the UKPK of any other spyderco knives that were produced in blue? I've been trying to find an inclusive list but I've not turned up much yet on google. My goal is to have them all.... and frankly, I'm not even sure why....

Those blue scales on the Mule are sick, did you make them. Which model is it. Those scales were made for me by a local knife maker. I'm like them, only problem is they are too thin for my taste. So I plan on trying to make my own out of some thicker blue G10 and maybe doing a bit more texturing on ...

I got the blues

So here is my collection of the blue knives so far. One that is definitely missing that I am still seeking is a Paramilitary 2. Dodo is on my list as well. Special thanks to Cheddarnut for his contribution!

I looked everywhere I could think of. I can't find a G10 plain edge anywhere. Tons of the aluminum handled ones though.

Couldn't agree more! Looks great like that. That is how a knife should look! Those serrations look pretty toasted though.

yes, it will swap. I have done it to a Matriarch 2 and Endura FOUR. And the Spyderco Lightweight Kits for the Endura (just the steel liners, pins and screws) will fit the Matriarch 2. Here is a thread to show this. http://www.jerzeedevil.com/forums/showthread.php/114701-Toxic-Green-Spyderco-Matriar...

Not sure if they'd swap straight over without any adjustments ?.
:) .
Does anyone know if this is possible?? Swapping a Matriarch 2 blade on to a colored FRN endura handle? I've been thinking about doing this for a while.

Sorry it took me so long to get the picture up and for the poor quality. Had to take it with my cell phone. The number appears to be on a sticker but it does not feel raised. Its hard to explain but I dont think it can come off.

Would you mind posting a pic of the number? I came across a numbered edition with the number etched into the clip many years and have seen one or two since then. These are pretty unusual since Spyderco has not numbered any other knife clip that I'm aware of. And why would you, since the clip is eas...

Or you can always dye the yellow FRN with RIT dye like I did. Unless you really like the yellow color (it does provide excellent visibility). But like David said, due to the original wire clip design it will take some careful work to get a clip that will not move around on you if you only use the on...
