Bill, First off, Welcome to the Spyderco Forum! I'm sorry to hear about your problems. I've carried a FRN Endura for years and never had it loosen up. When you loctited the fastener was there any oil in the threads? This could cause the loctite to not adhere properly. What # loctite did you use? 242...

Brian, It actually goes like this... "This is a 44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world. You're probably wondering whether I fired five shots or six? You have to ask yourself a question... Do you feel lucky punk?... Well do ya?" Anyway that's the way I remember it! The .454 Casau...

Nu2knives,

Welcome to the Spyderco Forum!

Sorry about your grandfather!
It sounds like a Civilian to me. They retail for about 230.00 but can be bought for 137.00 Did it come with a pouch? Is the blade numbered? It is a great knive, don't use it for general applications as this will void warranty!

Spyderholic, Thanks for the info... I am almost sure the scales were micarta (90%) because they looked dry and fabric like. I'm going back to the store this morning to check it out further, to get some grips for my Python and also because it's been a few days since I bought a Spydie and I owe it to ...

Mike, Thank you for another informitive thread! A couple of questions... 1) I would worry that the BG could utilize any weapons "displayed" in the home against the homeowner. The hidden weapons would be more advantageous. Could this be a negative factor? I'm not trying to dissect your post...

Blackhawk Down !

O.K. this has nothing to do with the new movie. I was out cycling today and ran across a store that had some Spydies. They had two Blackhawks that I believe were micarta. Does anyone know when these were originally made (year) and when they were discontinued? Approximatly how many, and are P/E more ...

Spyderholic, It's funny you mention this. On New Years day I was in Havasu (Arizona) cruising the sand rails and quads with buddies, shooting and so forth. Went exploring around while at one stop and found a Tarantula. So I pulled out my PS Endura for a photo op, then got one with my Native P/E. I'v...

SpyderNut, I got my G/B Lum Chinese from Newgraham for 109.00 The blues are only availible in P/E but apparantly more rare. I hope this doesn't add to an already difficult decision! BTW... Do you have "Clays Syndrome"... It's the sudden urge to go buy a Lum Chinese folder especially when y...
