Re: Delica G10 S110V
Yea it seems unlikely they will do S110V on the Seki models at this point. Would be an interesting flare though.

Re: Can this br repaired on my Millie??
I've had good luck actually putting a small drop of loctite inside the female pivot screw. When I put it on the male screw it would always seep out after screwing it in and gum up the action.

Re: Seller "Spyderco" on Amazon
I've bought Spyderco's that are shipped from and sold by Amazon and they were all legitimate. The only thing you have to be concerned about is if someone bought a legit one, put a fake back in the box, then returned it to Amazon. You're probably better off buying from a reputable dealer who sells kn...

Re: Spyderco's Answer To The Buck Model 110?
I'm a little unclear on the question. If you're asking about which Spyderco model is most iconic in the same way that the 110 is iconic to the Buck brand, then I'd definitely say Military. If you're asking which model is Spyderco's own version of the 110, then I think that's more up in the air.

Re: HAP40 Dragonfly
I missed out on the Super Blue Dragonfly and it seems all the preorders for the HAP40 Dragonfly (I've been out of knife collecting for a while ;) ).. Is there a brief window these days to nab a popular model that hasn't been pre-ordered? There are some sites that don't do pre-orders at all (like Na...

HAP40 Dragonfly
Hey everyone, Starting this thread in anticipation of the upcoming DF2 sprint in HAP40. Thought it would be good to have a thread for updates on availability and for people to post pics once they arrive. I see Knife Center expects it within the month of February. Anyone get a shipping notice for the...

The BF Exchange is the way to go. If you sell $300 worth of product on eBay you will have paid enough fees to have a BF membership for a year.

Re: Crazy edge holding ability
Any tips on how you're getting it this sharp of the SM medium rods? I can't seem to get my HAP40 Delica there, even with stropping afterwards. Hi James, just put a microbevel on a clean 30 degree apex. Use continually lighter and lighter strokes until you are barely touching the stones. Go slow and...

Re: Crazy edge holding ability
Here's a question. Take any steel Spyderco offers, then take the blades of two of the same knives in the chosen steel down to a mythical one-micron edge. Use one to pop arm hair. Put aside the other for six months before doing the same. Will they have the same performance? It will depend a lot on b...

Which Upcoming Sprint Run?
Hi All, My first post here on Spydie forums. Thanks for having me. I wanted to do a little showdown between two upcoming sprints: Military CTS-204p in Green G-10 and Paramilitary 2 CPM-M4 in Jade G-10. I know they are quite different, but let's here which one you're looking forward to most and why. ...

Re: My all time favorite EDC steel!!!!
Is Hap40!!! I've had my hap40 Delica for several weeks now and have used, sharpened and even done some rope cutting with it and I absolutely love this steel. Sharpens like a dream, edge retention is excellent and it shows great edge stability so far. I have used the hap40 Delica enough now to feel ...
