As a flipper, I can agree with you on that. :D
Though I think the bad boy got a little greedy there, wen't back to my D4 for a while to let him think a little of his actions. :p

Might be worth taking it easy for a while though or getting it x-rayed - just in case you nicked it. Mine was weakened from arthritis and one day it just snapped as I was pulling a sock on ... strange things was it didn't hurt at all ... my doctor seemed more worried about it than I was at the time...

"Snipped by the Rock Lobster" Whew! Glad it was just your thumb. In the U.S. when someone says they got "snipped" they mean to say they had a vasectomy. I'm sure you and the "boys" are glad you didn't do a self-procedure with the Rock Lobster. :D There was a bit of wor...

Luckily not, I can still move my finger just fine at the joint. Actually one of the first things I checked for after I had wrapped it up.

Snipped by the Rock Lobster

Oooh boy I cut myself pretty bad, by far the worst cut so far, and that's coming from a guy who flips a balisong. It was due to my own carelessness while cutting cardboard with my Rock Lobster. Right over the 2nd knuckle in my left thumb, like a 2 cm cut. It bled pretty bad but it closed up and stop...

Not an expert on zippos but if it was a real Spyderco Zippo wouldn't the box have a mention of it?
All the box says is 275 BR LOSSPROOF which is the serial for a regular brushed chrome zippo with a lanyard.
Zippo MIGHT be real but the bug might be an aftermarket job at least.

I always have a Leatherman Charge TTi in my backpack, If I feel I might need it I put it on my belt. I seriously need A Squirt (waiting for the new PS4 with scissors and pliers) or a SAK on my keys, but then my Ladybug has to go. :(

Many travelers are having trouble returning home since all the airports are closed here and the trains and busses are totally full and the railway e-ticket service has been crashing due to over...

I EDCed a 2" blade for some time and came to the result that it's sometimes simply too short, granted it performed as well as a 3" in 90% of the cutting jobs, but the 10% just bugged me. Now I'm EDCing a Rock Lobster or a FFG Delica and I gotta say the extra inch helps a lot. This is basic...

As far as liner locks go, as far as they're made by a reputable company and they feel solid, they're fine. But as mentioned, probably another bladeshape would suit the SD role better, clip point, tanto, hawkbill. The Civilian for example is a purpose built SD knife for unexperienced hands, but other...

Liner/frame locks are definitely the easiest knives to disassemble/reassemble. Lock-backs are a hint more difficult with the tension on the backspring. But assisted models with some hokey safety mechanism, EW!
Simplicity is perfection.
BTW not a fan of orange but the black/orange contrast is awesome.

Both. I mostly collect knives that I can use, small EDCable ones. When I get new ones I retire the old ones to the collection and sometimes revisit perhaps. But there are some that I just got to have even if I can't carry them much, some for the collectibility and some for the sheer awesomeness. I h...

Both my FFG Delica4 (same construction as the E4) have a tiny bit of vertical play. Using it, you can't notice it. If you really wiggle it from the tip you can feel it, but it's not even making a sound. Even my LadybugIII has that, a bit more though, but as long as you don't notice it in normal use,...

Of course, I bought the knife for less that $10 on the streets of Bangkok. I'd only been carrying it a week, and I didn't really know what it was. I replaced it with a Caly3, but I was in for quite a shock when I realized I threw away a $100+ knife. I highly doubt a 10$ UKPK bought from the streets...
