Simple excellent customer service, no complaints what so ever. They respond to emails quickly, within a day or two. First of all I've made SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL orders with them with no problems, and I can be pretty demanding sometimes. If my order was delayed when something was out of stock, I aske...

Both Manixes were sprint runs and are pretty much gone already, if you still see them somewhere new, you better jump on them if you want one. Meerkat (Gray/Blue) was a sprint run and no other version is in production ATM. The sprint run is pretty much sold out, you might find some if you're really l...

I know there were a few cases a year or so back of UKPK backsprings breaking. Not sure if they were the orange ones, the older black ones, or some other variant. Definitely worth getting in touch with Spyderco. If there really were issues with the lock-springs, then definitely try getting in touch ...

I was able to use my freshly sharpened Caly Jr. ZDP 189 Black FRN handle to cut my second boy's cord when he was born. It cut how you would guess, went right through. The mid-wife and nurses agreed that my Spyderco did a better and quicker job than the usual shears. I'll have to keep that in mind w...

The blade shape is excellent, it's a sheepsfoot but with a bit of belly. The tip is strong and sharp. It's a great shape unless you need a narrow point to get into tight spaces or you really need to puncture deep holes into material AKA stab. As far as ergos go, some like 'em some hate 'em. Personal...

I have a custom kydex Swick2 sheath from this Spyderco forumite: http://www.spyderco.com/forums/member.php?u=12279 It has just about a 3rd of the finger-hole covered by kydex, which leaves more than enough for me to get the tip of my forefinger in there and yank it out. Any less kydex and the reten...

I love the skull wristband. Is there any links that would show me how to make one? I've made lanyards before, but they were just simple ones that I made for a few of my SAKs. The weave I used is called the cobra stitch, pretty easy to do. Out of all the tutorials this is by far the best: http://www...

I think they look great on the Ladybug - I might have to find some. Thanks for the fun thread. :D - best wishes, Jazz. Just as a side note to everyone interested in beads: Lighthound sells the exact skulls I used in a couple variations as well as metallic skulls and some regular beads. SOSAK Rotoki...
