All PM2s have liners, including natural G-10.

Re: Para 3 legit or clone?!
I've tried two different browsers on work PC, logged in & logged out, cleared cache etc. No bueno. Our ISP isn't blocking anything that I'm aware of. Then I tried 4 different browser on my phone. WiFi & cell connections, logged in & logged out, cleared history-data-etc, no good. Then I ...

I can't see your pics You're the second person to tell me that in the past few days. I host pics on my own HTTP webserver...no third party image hosting. Unless your ISP has randomly blocked my IP address, or requires HTTPS for some reason, they should load just fine. I just had my wife check from ...

Re: Sprint Runs of Obscure Models Maybe???
I love the fact that the RENEGADE keeps coming up. I've often thought of how nice a new RENEGADE model would be in one of the Supersteels. It was one of the very first Spyderco models with a G-10 handle to the best of my memory. The Renegade and Blackhawk are the first models to be both designed an...

No interest in 3V in folders...that's just leaving performance on the table for no reason. Same with metal handles.

Counterfeit Para 3's just hit the market a few months ago, and they're all marked S30V...or S30VN (lol).

That looks like warping during heat treatment.

Re: Sprint Runs of Obscure Models Maybe???
Renegade, in the form of an alternate blade style for the Chief. Easy peasy. Given the history and personalities involved, there will probably never be another Spyderco-manufactured Gunting, but I'd buy one. http://www.decadecounter.com/vta/misc/chief_and_renegade_friends_forever_960.jpg http://www....

Re: Sal - YOU are not listening to us
I think it's perfect that the PM2 comes tip down. It prevents Instagram people from switching the clip to tip-up to fool their followers into thinking that they actually carry their knives, then putting them back to tip-down and flipping them as BNIB.

Re: I really hope Spyderco is keeping the liners for the upcoming FRN/LW PM2.
FRN is grippier than G10 due to the bidirectional texturing AND FRN is still less of pocket destroyer, partly cause the clip lands on the smooth logo, partly because "sandpaper structure" (G10) does not necessarily mean "grippier in a human hand.. just my 2c (but also my personal exp...

Re: I really hope Spyderco is keeping the liners for the upcoming FRN/LW PM2.
Without a significant weight savings, there is no positive market differentiation for the lightweight model. Most customers will view it as an uglier, more cheaply manufactured PM2 with an inferior traction profile. We disagree. And that's fine. - FRN allows to mold better ergos than the blockiness...

Re: Spyderco is the Rolex of the knife world
Unless I missed something, nobody labeled you, or the tanto PM2, or the Lum, a mall ninja. I labeled my *child* as a mall ninja. I wasn't making a joke. He actually wants a blackout tanto PM2. As soon as BHQ redrops them, I'm getting him one. The only reason he doesn't already have a PM2 is because ...

Yes, as long as it was clearly discernible from an original box. Change the red to blue or something.

Re: Lefty Linerlock Value Knives
I'm a leftie who's an advocate for learning how to use rightie tools. It only makes us stronger, for the day when we rise up and make the righies pay for their millennia of ceaseless oppression. When I use a liner lock, I just use my index finger to close it instead of my thumb. This method should w...

Re: I really hope Spyderco is keeping the liners for the upcoming FRN/LW PM2.
I bet the PM2LW will basically be a BHQ copper PM2 but with FRN instead of copper, plus a steel liner/insert around the pivot like a P3LW. I suspect the reason we haven't seen the PM2LW prototype yet is because of the same centering issues as the P3LW, only magnified. Without a significant weight sa...

Re: Can we talk about the Yo2's tip problem?
I have strong feelings regarding the Yo2 and its appropriateness for the advertised task, but this is MJ's house so I'm not going to wipe my muddy feet on his carpet. I will say though, that I do not believe it is the best Golden model for SD, and low tip strength (particularly combined with the obt...

Re: Spyderco is the Rolex of the knife world
I would very much like for BHQ to redrop the S30V blackout tanto PM2. I have an aspiring 12 year old mall ninja that's been nagging me for one since they dropped last year, but I only have spares of the M4 version, and he isn't quite ready for tool steel maintenance. I think you may be overestimatin...
