I need a favor, can some one with the S35v version post a close up pic of the lock back please? Mine has a gap and not sure if this is normal or not? My Native 5 is very stiff and nothing seems to be working. If I slowly open the blade, it opens in increments with vibration feeling. I love this kni...

Got it used, in excellent shape
Absolutely love the pivot bushing system..by far the smoothest backlock knife I own.
Extremely comfortable.
It's rising fast to becoming a favorite Spydie

Well I was poking around to see who might be selling the new Dice, I bought the blue CF Domino, but I prefer smaller blades for EDC. Mainly because here in Canada a 3inch blade scares most people, especially around an office. Couldn't agree more..sad for us "knife guys" That's exactly why...

I can't do the middle finger flick on any of my Spydies...either my finger is too weak, or my Spydies aren't broken in quite that well .. or both!

Yeah...know what you mean. I can say that neither my Sage 2 or Techno's lock-bar has moved at all, even w/obsessive opening and closing in the approx. year I've owned each. Further, I remember Sal responded to a worried Sage 2 owner in a past thread that if the lock-bar ever failed, he would take c...

Can't see mine and I'm not sure how one could get a good look at it (just the face that touches the blade tang) w/o (a) disassembly or (b) over extending the lock-bar outwardly beyond it's design intent, possibly causing it to take a "set"...something I'm unwilling to do w/mine. Yea it ca...

I always thought that the Sage 2 was not treated, but the Techno was...hence the brown color on the tip of the lock-bar. I've never disassembled my Techno but have seen threads where others had, and taken macro shots of the lock-bar face showing the color difference. So is the tip of your lockbar i...

Never had problems with Ti too steel contact.
untreated titanium lock face wears over time (esp with alot of flicking the knife I suppose)

Skeletonized liners or no? We seem to be getting conflicting opinions here. I wonder if it's a rolling change and there are some that are between the switch that have FFG and non-skeletonized liners? I haven't got it in the mail yet. It has been shipped! I'll probably receive it on Monday or Tuesday

Techno lock face

Hi all, Does anyone happen to know for a fact whether the lock face on the techno is heat treated (or carbidized)? I've read contradicting thoughts on different forums..some claim the lock face on their techno is a different color (brownish) suggesting possibility of it being heat treated..mine howe...
